This course is brought to you by  Appy Pie as part of our Academy series welcome to the course, my name is Alex and ethnic and I'll be your instructor I sincerely appreciate the time and trust that you're putting into me in this course and I'll do whatever I can to make sure that you get a lot of value from the course I don't take you're being a student in this course for granted now some of the things I do for students is I regularly hold office hours where you and I can come at one point have a real conversation about your app I also make sure to answer 99% of students questions within 24 hours and I welcome you in the course, discussion to post a link to your app so I can take a look at it other students take a look and take a look at it and who knows maybe peach students will leave reviews and all these good things that might happen to your the app just from the course so you're welcome to do that I encourage students to share their work now what are you going to get from this course is heavily focused on ASO app store search optimization there's many other strategies but for apps most downloads for most apps most downloads do come from App Store search so that would be the focus and the course is balanced between theory and practice I do show how to do a lot of the things some students have said there's a little bit too much theory but the teacher in I feel like if you once you understand the theory it would be it would become really easy for you to do it so understanding it's kind of like give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day but if you teach a man how to fish he'll be able to eat for a lifetime or however, this quote works that are the idea of this course I'm trying to empower you and that's why this the course does have a lot of theories so if that's boring I'm sorry but I really did that with your best interest in mind now I want to get started right away but there's one thing that a lot of students ask me and they're like why do you ask for a review so early and it's not me if it's confusing you to me asks for a review that's like an internal udemy thing they give you a pop-up early in the course, they ask for a review and students don't like that because you don't know if you like the course I structures don't like that because I don't know if you like the core so it's confusing for students it's distracting from the course any way you to me does that we can change it now my goal is to make this a five-star course my goal is to make sure that every student has a five-star experience if you don't have a five-star experience please write me a note telling me what did I not cover what's wrong with the course I update this course all the time that's my other promise to students I keep on updating the course all the time if you look at the last update date it's very recent and I've been updating the course four years now so it's very consistent with it so what does that mean if you tell me Alex can you please add listen or something I'll do it so let's get started I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you have a great time in this course.
