I: Introduction

The use of social media has been increasing in the last few years, and so have the number of people using it. It has become a part of our daily lives, even those who don’t have a facebook account. In fact, the amount of people who have a Facebook account is close to 2 billion. And as time passes, more and more people are being introduced to the world of social networking sites, and eventually they will have one account or more.

In order to make sure that your message reaches a large group of people, you must advertise your services on these website. This way your message will reach a lot of people easily. You can also engage with your customers better by using social media for this purpose.

II: Body

YouTube – YouTube is a free video-sharing website where you can share your videos with anyone across the globe. In addition to this, you can also subscribe to your favorite channels if you want to view their videos. You can also create your own channel. You can publish different types of videos such as an album, which contains many videos, a promotional video, and other forms as well. You can also earn money by publishing Youtube videos and getting subscribers and views. You can also earn money through ad revenue and product placement, which you can charge for. Twitter – Twitter is a social networking website where you can connect with people from all around the world and talk about any topic that interests you. You can also post pictures and links there as well as retweet or favorite other tweets that you like. You can also reply to someone else’s tweet, but you cannot comment on it. There are different groups of people on Twitter, which you can join if you want to talk about a particular topic or interest. You can also create your own group if you want to talk about a certain topic with specific people. Instagram – Instagram is a photo-sharing website where you can share your photos with your followers and others as well. You can allow other people to see your photos and comment on them as well. You can like other photos too by tapping the like button below it. Facebook – Facebook is the biggest social media website out there that allows you to keep up with friends and family all over the world. You can also share status updates, read news articles and other information on Facebook as well as comment on it as well. Facebook allows you to create groups where you can share information with specific people. LinkedIn – LinkedIn is a professional network online where you can connect with people in your field of work or study or business partners or potential employers or employees or investors or advisors or just about anyone else who works in an industry that interests you. You can write blog posts on LinkedIn, which are known as “Insights”. Twitter is also used for this purpose. Google+ – Google+ is the newest social media website created by Google itself, which is pretty much similar to Facebook or Twitter in terms of features, but it’s more professional than both of them combined. This site allows you to create “Circles”, which are groups of people with whom you share content mainly related to personal matters or business matters or anything else that falls under that category. Google+ also allows you to create Communities, which are groups specifically designed for sharing information related to a specific topic/interest/area of work/study/business etc… Reddit – Reddit is a social news website with subsections called subreddits. A subreddit is basically a sub-section of another subsection with its own moderators and rules applied only to the members of that subreddit. There are quite a few subreddits available on reddit with different topics ranging from movies, books, technology, news etc… You can post links on reddit as well as comments on other users’ posts/comments/threads/posts/comments/threads etc… StumbleUpon – StumbleUpon is an amazing site where you get to discover new content on the internet including websites, images, videos etc… Basically you get to discover things that are interesting to you through StumbleUpon, hence the name of the site. Whenever you come across something interesting on StumbleUpon, you can give it a thumbs up so that other users will know about it as well. There are two ways of doing this; firstly by clicking the “like” button below the item that interests you or secondly by clicking on the little heart icon next to it (you will come across this heart icon only when viewing the item on the main page). Other people will see this “like” on their main page as well, hence they will know what interests you; this way they will know what kind of posts they should show their friends or relatives or associates etc…
