Some just pay a flat rate per sale, which means it does not matter how many people buy the product from your site, you will earn the same amount of money per sale. Other networks pay commission on a sliding scale depending on how many people you refer to them. This allows you to earn more money for each sale if more people follow your links and buy from them. Therefore, try and join a network that pays commission on a sliding scale rather than a flat rate per sale.
