Writing an outline is easy. Just number the points you want to make in order of their importance, and then write a quick sentence or two explaining each point. Those points can be your main points that support your thesis, body paragraphs, or both if you’re doing an article. (Thesis statements are explained further below.)

Whether you use bullet points or sentences, make sure your outline is easy for others to read. If it’s not, your readers will have trouble understanding what you’re trying to say. That’s why you need to make your outline as simple as possible.

You need to do the same with the rest of your article.

The Essay Outline Template

An article is a piece of writing that has three main parts: the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. The introduction starts off the article; the body paragraphs expand on the topic; and the conclusion wraps things up. Each section has its own purpose.

Introduction – Why You Should Read This Essay & What You’ll Learn from It

In the introduction, you should explain why this topic is important and what you’re going to discuss in the article. You might also include a couple quotes to show how other people feel about Affiliate Marketing or examples from your own experience to show how it works. Then you should give a concise thesis statement.

Body – Reasons, Evidence, and Examples to Prove Your Point(s)

After your introduction, you need to provide reasons why Affiliate Marketing is a good idea or why it isn’t a good idea. You can do that by giving reasons that support your thesis statement. Be sure to explain those reasons thoroughly. Give evidence from your research and examples from personal experience whenever possible. In fact, it’s a good idea to tie those reasons and evidence into your outline. That way you won’t forget any of them when you start writing.

Conclusion – Restate Your Thesis Statement & Explain How It All Works Together

In the conclusion, restate your thesis statement and explain how it all works together. If you have time, you can mention one or two ideas that didn’t fit into the body of the article but that could be useful for future discussions about the topic. Otherwise, just mention that there are still unanswered questions and that more research needs to be done. Then your article is done!

How to Write a Thesis Statement – The Basics

A thesis statement is a complete sentence that explains what you’ll discuss in your article and helps your readers understand what they’ll learn from it. It should be clear and complete so that your readers don’t have any trouble understanding what you’re saying. If they can’t understand what you’re saying, they probably won’t finish reading your article either. There are many different kinds of thesis statements, but here are some basic steps for writing yours:

Decide What You Want to Say – Decide what your point is and be sure it’s clear to everyone who reads your article. What do you want to argue about Affiliate Marketing? What do other people think? What do you? Why? Think about other articles and articles you’ve read about Affiliate Marketing and figure out which side they take and why. Then decide where you stand on the issue and state it clearly in your thesis statement. Clarify Your Thoughts – Now that you know what you want to say, clarify it in one or two sentences that anyone can understand. Don’t try to put too much information into those sentences because that only makes them harder to understand. Instead, focus on your strongest point and state it in one sentence. Then rephrase it in another sentence if necessary. Check Your Grammar and Spelling – Do not rely on spellcheck or grammar checkers! They won’t catch every mistake and they often change things for no good reason. Unless you want to sound like an idiot, double check every word yourself before you start writing! Start Writing – When it comes time to write your article, keep your thesis statement in mind at all times. Whenever you come across a new idea or new evidence, ask yourself whether it supports or contradicts what you said in your thesis statement. When it does, make sure you put it in your article; when it doesn’t, make sure you talk about why it doesn’t matter (or doesn’t help). Remember: Your readers aren’t stupid! Give them enough information so they can understand everything else in your article without having to read all year long until they find out something they don’t know already! Proofread – When it comes time for proofreading, remember that mistakes can happen anywhere in an article! It takes a lot of work to find every single mistake, so just concentrate on the major ones—and always have someone else look over your work before it goes out into the world! If you follow these five steps when writing a thesis statement, you shouldn’t have a problem with writing a great article! So let’s put these tips into action with an example…
