I: Introduction

In my opinion the best way to make money from home is with a blog. You can use it to share your opinions and thoughts, promote a business, or you could even make a living writing about something you love in a fun and educational way. When you start a blog you can write about anything you want, there aren’t any rules or restrictions. You can say what you want without worrying about being sued for slander. With a blog you can earn money from affiliate programs, advertising, and even sell your own products. In this article I will tell you how to add pages, posts, widgets, sidebar, themes to your wordpress website.

II: Body

To add pages to your wordpress website you need to go to the dashboard and click on Pages and then Add New.

After you click on Add New you will be taken to a screen that says page title and body of your page. All you have to do is fill in the title and body of your page and click on publish.

When you’re finished adding pages you will need to add posts to your website. To add posts to your website you will need to go to Posts and then Add New.

Once again when you get to the screen that says title and body of your post just fill it in and click publish. There are also two other buttons on this screen which allow you to set categories and tags for your post. You should always set categories and tags for each of your posts because they help search engines find your site more easily.

Next we will talk about widgets, sidebar, and themes. Widgets are like mini applications that run on your website. You can add them to any of the widget areas that appear at the side or the bottom of every page on your website.

For example on this site I have added a widget called Recent Comments which displays comments from people who visit my blog on the right side of the page. There are also widgets that allow you to display text, images, quotes, audio files, videos, etc… On the left side of the screen there are categories for different types of widgets that you can add. You can also add different styles of sidebar widgets that display things like recent posts, recent comments, recent comments by category, recent comments by user, etc… These are helpful for displaying important information about your site quickly so users can get an idea of what your site is about. And lastly there are themes which let you change the look of your website completely. With themes not only do you get different colors but sometimes backgrounds, fonts, layouts, etc… Themes are great because they allow everyone to customize their own website in any way they want.
