Further reducing image size

Video Transcription: Now let's take a look at how to compress the image even further so I'm going to take this image this video is brought to you by Appy Pie’s Academy. the new one the one with the 316 KB that we just worked on and it's going to upload and then what we're going to want to do is resize it a little bit more so here's the image and it uploaded so what we're going to do is we're going to take this here instead of best quality we're going to go into like normal compression or progressive compression so let's say we go into progressive compression and let's say we do like 60% of the original and then we're going to select resize image and then you see that it's even smaller now let's see what happens when we download this image when we download this image this is what it looks like and if we expand it it still is that same image I don't see any particular loss of quality at least to my eye and what you can do is experiment by uploading it to your website and seeing hey like what can I really spot a difference and maybe ask some friends can you spot a difference if nobody can spot a difference then it's good enough for the web because this is not meant to be some sort of a super professional you know like exhibition style website this is image this is really just meant for people to see your image and if you can get away with compressing it great because the more you can compress it the faster it will load and the faster your entire page will load and the more benefit you'll get for your SEO.
