I was assigned the topic of cloud computing for machine learning. My purpose for this assignment is to create an outline for my final technical report.

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product or physical device. This allows companies to outsource their computing needs to a third party without having to purchase costly hardware. As a result, cloud computing relieves the company of the burden of paying for expensive hardware, which can be managed by the third party, leaving the company free to focus on its core business.

Companies that use cloud computing are able to enjoy several benefits, including more flexibility, reliability, security, and scalability. Businesses are able to receive new computer resources immediately instead of waiting weeks or months to receive them. Cloud computing also makes it easy to quickly scale up or down based on demand, making it easier to meet sudden spikes in demand.

III: Conclusion

After researching the topic of cloud computing for machine learning, I found that cloud computing has many benefits for businesses that use it. It is especially beneficial for businesses that require large amounts of processing power at different times of the day; they can now meet their demands for extra processing power with little effort. The ability to scale up or down is also very helpful for companies that suddenly need more or less processing power.

Cloud computing provides businesses with more flexibility because they do not need to worry about spending money on expensive hardware. Because cloud computing utilizes third-party providers, businesses can focus on their core business instead of focusing on maintaining expensive hardware. Cloud computing is also very cost effective because companies can pay only for what they use. One example is Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), which charges customers based on how much they use, allowing them to save money if they don't use all of their processing power.
