I: Introduction

Programming languages are used to create computer programs. The language is linked with the operating system and the program interacts with the user in order to perform specific tasks such as playing a game or creating a document. Programming languages also make it possible for developers to work on the same project, but in different offices and in different countries. The use of programming languages dates back to the 1950s when they were developed by scientists and mathematicians in order to be able to perform complex calculations. Today, programming languages are used in many different fields and the number of programming languages available today is greater than ever in history. There are approximately 20,000 programming languages available today.

II: Body

A: Displaying lists

There are different types of programming languages that are used today. Some of them can be used to create games, while others are used to create Web pages. This article will focus on the most commonly used programming languages which are Java, C, C++, Python, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. These programming languages are used to create programs that run on computers. A specific language is selected by the developer depending on what type of program he wants to create. The purpose of this part of the article is to give you a brief overview on how these programming languages will allow you to display lists of items on your computer screen. We will then provide you with an example using some of these languages.

Java

Java was introduced in 1995 by SUN Microsystems. It is one of the most widely used languages today and it is one of the most popular programming languages used to create Android apps, games and web applications. The Java programming language is easy to learn because it is object-oriented and it uses a hierarchical structure. If you want to create your own program in Java, you need to install the Java Development Kit (JDK). Once you have installed it on your computer, you will need to write code using the Java programming language.

C language

The C programming language was created in 1972 by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs. It is considered one of the oldest programming languages that is still used today. The C Language is portable and it can run on any platform. It was designed so that it could be modified easily and its source code is readable. The C language has become widely used in developing applications for Mac OS X and Linux systems.

C++ language

C++ was created in the 1980s by Bjarne Stroustrup at Bell Labs. It is an enhanced version of the C language, which only supports object-oriented features like classes and objects. The C++ language can be compiled using different compilers, which includes GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) and Visual Studio.

Python language

The Python programming language was designed by Guido Van Rossum in 1991. It is an object-oriented programming language which allows developers to use whitespace indentation in order to define blocks of code instead of curly brackets or begin/end keywords, like in most other object-oriented languages. Python is very easy to learn, but it is also very powerful. It has been used extensively for scientific research and web development because it makes it very easy to develop multi-platform software quickly.

HTML language

The Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) was developed by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN. It was created as a way for developers to make a distinction between content and presentation. HTML files are written using tags that define how the elements will look, such as bold text or a red background color. HTML files can be opened using a web browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome. In order to run a web page created with HTML, you need a web server that provides access to resources on a computer network using HTTP protocol. The first version of HTML was released in 1990 and was known as HTML 2.0. The current version of HTML can be found in HTML 5, which was released in 2014 and includes support for audio and video playback, forms, a canvas element for drawing graphics and a new feature called single sign-on. An example of how HTML works can be seen below:

Hello World

Hello World!

JavaScript language

JavaScript is a scripting language that was developed by Netscape Communications Corporation in 1995 and it is also referred to as ECMAScript (Embeddable Common Modeling Language). It has been standardized since 1997 and is based on C and C++ programming languages and it can be used interactively within a host environment (such as a Web browser). JavaScript allows developers to modify HTML documents based on user events such as mouse clicks or keystrokes that occur inside text fields or buttons etc. JavaScript is one of the most popular scripting languages that has been developed over time and it can even be used as a standalone application for performing specific tasks such as providing calculator functionality or displaying animations on websites without using Flash or Java applets etc. JavaScript also uses functions, objects and arrays etc. An example of how JavaScript works can be seen below:

[removed] //declare variables var x=0; var y=0; //increment x value function increment(){ x++; [removed]("x = "+x+", y = "+y); } //increment y value function increment2(){ y++; [removed]("y = "+y+", x = "+x); } //call increment function [removed]("x = "+x+", y = "+y); [removed]("
"); increment(); //call increment2 function [removed]("x = "+x+", y = "+y); [removed]("
"); increment2(); [removed]
