What do I do with my domain once it's been registered?
Registering a domain name doesn’t automatically activate the website. You must have a hosted website that contains a numeric address, called IP address, which allows users to access your website through the domain name.
Besides setting up a website, you can do different other things with your registered domain name:
- Sell It – Yes, you can set up a “For Sale” page showing your contact details, to let users know that the domain name is still available.
- Protect your brand online – The more similar domain names you register, the better. It will not only help you prevent others from getting the similar domain name as yours, but will also avoid confusion among the customers. What to do with all these domain names? Similar re-direct them to your main domain name website.
- Hold on to it – It maybe that you haven’t decided your next step. No worries! Just leave it parked with us for the length of your registration.
