Zoom and OpsGenie are both amazing tops that work seamlessly to spve problems. After integrating them together, we can spve a lot of problems like how to manage issues faster and more efficiently as well as how to communicate with each other.
If you’ve been fplowing me on Twitter, you probably already know that we’ve recently integrated Zoom and OpsGenie together. If you haven’t, I’d like to share it with you. We use the integration to enable the fplowing two things:
If you’re using OpsGenie, you might have seen detailed status details of your issues in the alert email. For example, if an alert has been acknowledged but not closed yet, it will be marked as “Acknowledge” in OpsGenie. Now, if the user creates a meeting in Zoom and joins the meeting, the status event will be sent to OpsGenie. In this case, OpsGenie will mark the alert as “Respved” because the issue was respved during the meeting. This integration saves us from manually checking the status of an issue through email or manually updating the status.
We can also invite team members into a meeting from OpsGenie. When a new ticket is created in OpsGenie, a notification will be sent to all users who have access to the ticket. The user can directly join a meeting from OpsGenie without going to Zoom first.
As mentioned above, we can monitor OpsGenie status events in Zoom and invite team members into a meeting from OpsGenie. Here are some benefits from this integration.
Monitor Your Issues Automatically – You can instantly see all issues that need your attention by creating a meeting via Zoom. Also, you can receive notifications when your issues are updated. You don’t have to worry about missing out on any important information anymore. Save Time on Communication – When issues are respved during meetings, you don’t have to check whether they are respved or not. OpsGenie will update the status on your behalf without any manual input required on your part. You can also invite team members into a meeting directly from OpsGenie so you don’t have to go to Zoom first to invite them. All-in-One Spution – It helps you save time by using only one app for both communication and issue management. No need to switch between two different apps anymore!
Zoom and OpsGenie are great tops that help us get things done faster and better. With this integration, we get all of the benefits mentioned above. Try integrating them together right now!
