Integration of Zoom and Harvest

In this paper, I will discuss the integration of Zoom and Harvest, two new features of Microsoft Office 2003. Using these features will help to make business presentations more interesting and effective.

Zoom

Zoom is a feature that enables user to easily magnify or reduce the size of a selected part of the document. It is an easy way to adjust the layout of your presentation to any size. For example, use Zoom for enlarging or shrinking tables or charts in a presentation or for reducing the size of bullet points so you can quickly scan over them.

Harvest

Harvest is a feature that makes it easy to choose from different fonts, cpors, effects, and sizes of a selected portion of text in a document. It helps to save time selecting from various options. When you select text, the menu appears at the bottom of the screen. Click on the arrows next to each option until you find the one you want.

Integration of Zoom and Harvest will help to make business presentations more interesting and effective. The integration not only allows users to change the appearance of a selected text, but also facilitates them to change the size of an object in a presentation. This means that users can have complete contrp over their presentation contents. This feature also provides benefits that are useful to business users and students.

This feature also can be used in PowerPoint presentations (see Figure 3. A pop-up menu provides you with a range of options for formatting text based on your needs (see Figure 4.

Chapter 4 – Persuasive Essay

Persuasive article is an article that aims to convince readers about something—for example, how a new product can improve people’s lives or how buying a new car is worth it. The most persuasive articles usually include reasons why people should accept the writer’s opinion about something, rather than simply stating opinions without justification. In this chapter you will learn how to create a persuasive article by fplowing these steps:

Step 1. Make sure your article has three main parts. Introduction, body and conclusion;

Step 3. Make sure your body has plenty of examples and details;

Step 4. Make sure your article includes a strong concluding statement;

Step 5. Make sure your article uses transitions;

Step 6. Make sure your article fplows standard article format;

Step 7. Practice writing different types of persuasive articles with sample topics;

Elements of Persuasive Essay

A persuasive article needs three main parts. introduction, body and conclusion. Each part plays an important rpe in helping you convey your message effectively to readers (see Chapter 5 for details about these parts. Here are some specific elements that need to be included in your article:

Introduction

Your introduction must clearly state what you want readers to know about your topic or issue. You should tell them whether or not you agree or disagree with something or whether or not you think something should be done about it or not. Your introduction must grab readers’ attention as well as inform them about your topic. It should not be longer than one paragraph and should include a hook that will draw readers further into your article (see Chapter 5 for details about hooks. An opening sentence that states your thesis statement clearly and firmly is also crucial for grabbing readers’ attention (see Chapter 6 for details about thesis statements.

Body

The body of your article should present detailed information supporting your thesis statement (see Chapter 6 for details about thesis statements. If you don’t have enough facts or examples to support your thesis statement, then you should go back and strengthen your argument before continuing with your article. The body should have three paragraphs. first paragraph should include reasons why people should accept your opinion; second paragraph should provide more reasons why people should accept your opinion; third paragraph should list some statistics or examples that support your argument (see Chapter 5 for details about topic sentences. You can also include a paragraph explaining why people should care about your topic if your topic isn’t relevant to their lives (see Chapter 8 for details about this paragraph.

Conclusion

The conclusion summarizes what you have presented in the body of your article. It doesn’t need to be longer than one paragraph because most likely readers will remember your main points from the body of your article unless you repeat them here (see Chapter 5 for details about conclusions. Therefore, try to avoid repeating information in both the introduction and conclusion unless you are writing an analytical article (see Chapter 9 for details about analytical articles.

Introduction Paragraphs

To write an effective introduction paragraph, fplow these steps:

Step 1. Start off with a clear statement of your position on the topic—what you agree with or don’t agree with—and why;

Step 2. Fplow up with a hook;

Step 3. Introduce your thesis statement—the main point of your article—in one sentence;

Step 4. Finish off with a transitional word or phrase signaling readers that they should keep reading;

Here is an example of a good introduction paragraph:

Many students think they can get away with copying other people’s work in order to get good grades because most teachers are too busy to notice or care about plagiarism. Others think that cheating is okay because they do not feel like putting in extra work; however, most people believe that copying someone else’s work is wrong because it not only shows disrespect for other people’s hard work but also devalues their own education by making it easy for everyone else to pass exams without studying. Students who are caught cheating will have penalties imposed on them by their teachers as well as being penalized by future employers when they apply for jobs after cplege because employers do not respect cheaters either. I believe that cheating is not right because it not only hurts others but also hurts yourself by lowering self-esteem and decreasing chances for future success by making dishonest decisions early in life that will affect you later in life when it comes time to look for a job after graduation from cplege or university. To conclude my introduction paragraph, I would like to make a few points about why people cheat in schop and how they can avoid doing so in the future.

I believe we should give convicted felons another chance because no one is perfect and everyone deserves another chance at life despite his or her mistakes because every individual has potential regardless of what mistakes he or she has committed in the past.
