Zoho Subscriptions is a web-based subscription billing software. It is a multi-tenant, SaaS-based enterprise spution for enabling recurring business models, such as e-commerce, cloud services and other managed services. It manages the entire lifecycle of a subscription from setting up the subscription, sending out invoices, renewals and revenue recognition. It offers a flexible billing model, allowing users to charge on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually basis.
Firebase Realtime Database is a cloud storage spution for mobile applications that need real-time data synced across devices. It stores data in JSON format at any scale with no restrictions on size or type. It supports offline access and live updates. It also supports structured data types like lists and maps.
This application will allow users to sign up for subscriptions through Zoho Subscriptions (a recurring bill payment software. and then synchronize the subscription information in Firebase Realtime Database. This will allow the user to access their subscriptions anywhere they are with Internet access without having to re-enter their personal information. Let’s dive deeper into the application functionality.
Main Screen. The user will first enter their email address and password that they use to log into Zoho Subscriptions. The user will then be presented with a list of all of their subscriptions available in their account:
The user can swipe through the subscriptions or tap on one to view more details about it:
The user can also view the timeline for this subscription by tapping on the “Timeline” button at the top right corner:

After the user has selected all of the subscriptions that they wish to view, they will then be able to tap on the “Next Step” button on the bottom topbar to proceed with synchronization:
If the user wishes to sync only some of their subscriptions, they can select them individually by tapping on them to select them and then tapping on “Finish”:
After choosing which subscriptions they want to sync, they can tap on “Start Sync” to begin the synchronization process:
Once the synchronization process starts, the screen will change and display a progress bar along with an upload and download icon:
Once the synchronization process is complete, both Zoho Subscriptions and Firebase Realtime Database will return to their previous states before starting the synchronization process. The user can now view any of these subscriptions from Firebase Realtime Database as well as Zoho Subscriptions on whichever device they have synced these subscriptions to. For example, if the user has synchronized their subscription from Zoho Subscriptions on their phone while offline, they will be able to see it when they log into Firebase Realtime Database because it was previously synced to their online computer. The same applies for syncing from Firebase Realtime Database to Zoho Subscriptions. If the user changes any information on Zoho Subscriptions or Firebase Realtime Database, it will be reflected in both services once they are synced again.
