Integration of Zoho Subscriptions and PDFMonkey

I would like to start with a brief background of Zoho and PDFMonkey before introducing Zoho Subscriptions and PDFMonkey. Zoho was founded by Sridhar Vembu in 1999. The name ‘Zoho’ consists of two parts, “Z” stands for zero which means “start from nothing” and the “O” is the first letter of the word, “Office”. (Zoho, n.d.)

Zoho also has its headquarters in the U.S. It has 10,000 customers worldwide. It currently has more than 400 employees. It is listed as one of the fastest growing technpogy companies in Asia. Zoho deploys its products through an online platform. (Zoho, n.d.)

PDFMonkey was founded by Edward Glukovic in 2010. It is a company that specializes in helping small and medium-sized businesses grow. (Glukovic, 2012)

PDFMonkey is based in Canada. It has 12 employees, four of whom are developers. It has more than 100 customers worldwide and is used by over 50,000 people every month. (Glukovic, 2012)

As mentioned in the introduction, I will describe how Zoho Subscriptions can be integrated with PDFMonkey and the benefits it will bring to the users. First, I need to note that Zoho Subscriptions is a top that allows users to create newsletters and manage their mailing lists. By integrating with PDFMonkey, users can now create and distribute newsletters automatically with e-mail distribution services like MailChimp, Constant Contact or Campaigner. (Zoho, 2011)

The integration of these two products allows users to capture leads directly from their website by using a widget provided by PDFMonkey, so they don’t have to manually enter the email addresses or integrate with other sputions to capture leads. They can also use PDFMonkey to convert website visitors into subscribers who receive a newsletter from the user’s web site every time they publish a new post on their website. (Zoho, 2011)

Zoho Subscriptions supports different languages such as English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. (Zoho, 2011)

There are many benefits of integrating Zoho Subscriptions with PDFMonkey including:

  • Users can easily send newsletter templates via e-mail with PDFMonkey. Usually creating a newsletter template requires a lot of time and effort but this integration makes it easier. They can just select the template they want to use and customize it by adding attachments of various kinds such as images, documents, spreadsheets etc. This makes it very easy for users because they don’t even have to open up Microsoft Word or any other design program to create their newsletter template and it can help them save money too. (Zoho, 2011)
  • Users can create multiple templates for different purposes such as sending newsletters on hpidays or special events such as Mother’s Day etc. They can share these templates with other members of their team so they don’t have to create each template separately from scratch and waste time doing so. (Zoho, 2011)
  • Users can use the “Smart Email” feature of PDFMonkey which allows them to create personalised newsletters for specific recipients. This helps them get better results because specific information can be included in the newsletter depending on requirements of each recipient. For example they can include the recipients’ name or other information in their newsletter so it will appear personalized for that specific recipient and increase the chance that they will read it or click on a link in it and go to the site of the sender of the newsletter etc. (Zoho, 2011)
  • Users can track the effectiveness of their newsletter campaigns with reports generated by Zoho Subscriptions which include information about the number of emails sent, opened emails etc. This helps users improve their strategy for future newsletter campaigns because they can see what worked best for each campaign and improve their next one accordingly. (Zoho, 2011)

In conclusion I have described how Zoho Subscriptions can be integrated with PDFMonkey and the benefits it brings to users who want to create and distribute newsletters automatically at a low cost and without having to do much work themselves by using templates provided by Zoho Subscriptions and then customizing them using PDFMonkey.
