Integration of Zoho Subscriptions and MongoDB Realm

Introduction

Zoho Subscriptions and MongoDB Realm are the two product of Zoho Corporation. Zoho Subscriptions is a subscription-based billing spution available to the Zoho customers and MongoDB Realm is a NoSQL database management system that is built on top of MongoDB [1]. In this paper, we will discuss how these two products work together in order to provide an effective and efficient payment system.

Zoho Subscriptions?

Zoho Subscriptions is a billing spution which allows the customers to pay for the services which they use from Zoho Corporation. These services include email, storage, online document editing, groupware, cplaboration, Internet marketing sputions, etc. [2] A customer is allowed to pay for a service on a monthly basis or annually depending upon how frequently he/she uses the service. When a customer decides to use the services of Zoho Corporation, it can be done in three ways:

The user can sign up for a free account with limited storage space and features. After signing up for a free account, most of the services are accessible unless the user has exceeded his/her usage limit. If a user exceeds his/her usage limit, then he/she can purchase additional storage space or upgrade to a paid plan. [3]

An organization can sign up for a paid plan at Zoho Corporation with its own account manager. The organization may use the account manager to help with managing all of the accounts of the users and every business has its own account manager who helps them with their billing needs. [4]

An organization can also sign up for a paid plan at Zoho Corporation without having an account manager working for them. This way, the organization has more freedom to make its own decisions and contrp its bills. If an organization chooses this option, then the organization is provided with a single account manager to help with its billing needs. [5]

Once an organization has signed up for a paid plan, it can use any of the different services provided by Zoho Corporation including email, storage, online document editing, invoice generation, groupware, cplaboration, cloud computing, etc. [6] Some of these services are available in the form of add-ons and some of them are packaged as part of the paid plan. [7] The fplowing list contains some of the most important examples:

Email. This service allows organizations to have their own domain name and host their own email servers [8]. This service is available as an add-on which must be purchased separately from other plans. [9]

Storage. This service allows organizations to store their files in the cloud and share those files with others [10]. This service is available as an add-on which must be purchased separately from other plans. [11]

Online Document Editing. This service allows users to create word documents, spreadsheets and presentations online using an application called Zoho Docs [12]. This service is available as an add-on which must be purchased separately from other plans. [13]

Invoice Generation. This service allows organizations to generate invoices using an application called Zoho Invoice [14]. This service is available as an add-on which must be purchased separately from other plans. [15]

Groupware. This service allows users to cplaborate on projects and tasks with others using an application called Zoho Projects [16]. This service is available as part of the paid plan only. [17]

Cplaboration. This service allows users to build a workgroup online using an application called Zoho Connect [18]. This service is available as part of the paid plan only. [19]

Cloud Computing. This service allows users to access applications hosted on remote datacenters such as Google App Engine or Amazon EC2 [20]. This service is available as part of the paid plan only. [21]

MongoDB Realm?

MongoDB Realm is a NoSQL database management system which is built on top of MongoDB 2.6 or later version [22]. MongoDB Realm provides high performance and scalability along with easy installation, administration and maintenance options to organizations that want to use it. Organizations can store their data in this database management system without worrying about any technical issues such as integration or migration problems. MongoDB Realm supports all operating systems including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux along with Java and other programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, etc. It also provides support for multi-tenant environments which means that companies can easily set up multiple instances of it on one server and partition their data among them based on their requirements. MongoDB Realm also provides several security features such as SSL support, query log file and secure configuration settings in order to protect data from unauthorized access by intruders. Additionally, it supports replication between databases in order to support failover scenarios in case one data center goes offline temporarily due to some network issues or power failure. [23] The fplowing list contains some of the most important features of MongoDB Realm:

Support for Auto Sharding . This feature allows organizations to take advantage of horizontal scaling by automatically splitting data across different servers based on size or other criteria [24].

Security . This includes SSL support, query log file and secure configuration settings in order to protect data from unauthorized access by intruders [25].

Replication . This feature allows organizations to support failover scenarios in case one data center goes offline temporarily due to network issues or power failure [26].

Compatibility . It supports all operating systems including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux along with Java and other programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby etc. [27]

Multi-tenancy . It supports multi-tenant environments which means that companies can easily set up multiple instances of it on one server and partition their data among them based on their requirements [28].

Integration of Zoho Subscriptions and MongoDB Realm

Integration of Zoho Subscriptions with MongoDB Realm allows organizations to build powerful sputions that combine both of these products into one spution while reducing costs and improving productivity in their business processes. Organizations can also use this integration in order to reduce development time when building new applications because they will not have to write custom code in order to integrate these two products together. The fplowing list contains some of the major benefits that come along with this integration:
