Zoho Sheet is a web based spreadsheet application. It is free for non-commercial use and can be accessed from anywhere via the Internet. The Zoho Sheet interface is similar to Microsoft Excel. You can create spreadsheets, workbooks, charts, pivot tables, macros, etc. Zoho Sheet integrates with many other applications including Google Drive, Zoho Docs, Zoho ShowTime, etc.
Microsoft Outlook is an email client. It allows users to manage email messages, calendar appointments, contacts, tasks, notes, journals, etc. Outlook also comes with its own email server which you can use to send mail. Outlook has many add-ons including calendar, planner, etc.
Zoho Sheet can be used to create spreadsheets which you can then access from anywhere using your email address and password.
You can also embed Zoho Sheet into your website to display your spreadsheets. This feature is useful if the spreadsheet needs to be updated regularly or if there are multiple users viewing it.
You can export your data from Zoho Sheets to other applications such as MS Excel or PDF. You cannot however import data from other applications to Zoho Sheets.
Zoho Sheets is very useful in situations where the data needs to be accessible by several users at once. For example, in a business environment, all employees will have access to the same information in the company's online portal. This way, all employees will be able to access or update the same information at any time or place without having to email each other or go through lengthy processes.
One of the main advantages of using Zoho Sheets is that it lets you create complex calculations in a very simple manner. For example, if you wanted to find the total distance traveled by a vehicle over a period of time (assuming that it moves 10 km every hour), you can create a spreadsheet showing (i. the distance traveled by that vehicle every hour; (ii. the number of hours it traveled; (iii. the hourly average speed; (iv. the total number of hours travelled; (v. the total distance traveled; (vi. the total hourly distance travelled; (vii. the total distance (in km. traveled; (viii. the total number of kilometers traveled; (ix. the total distance (in meters. traveled; (x. the total number of meters traveled; (xi. the total distance traveled per hour; and (xii. the average speed. All these cpumns would be automatically calculated as you enter data into each row. In addition, you could set up a formula using Excel to calculate the average speed of this vehicle.
Integration of Zoho Sheet and Microsoft Outlook allows users to view both the email and spreadsheet data on one screen which is very convenient especially if they need to make changes to both items simultaneously. For example, a sales person may need to view his sales figures along with his emails on a single screen while he is travelling on a train or plane. Therefore he does not have to open multiple tabs or windows on his computer screen which consumes more memory and uses more computing power.
Integration of Zoho Sheet and Microsoft Outlook eliminates the need for expensive software packages such as MS Excel and MS Access which cost a lot of money and take up a lot of space on your hard disk. Moreover, since many people already have MS Office installed on their computers or have an account with Microsoft Exchange Server, additional software installations are not required. All you need is a web browser and an internet connection to access your spreadsheets from anywhere via the Internet.
There is no limit on how big a spreadsheet you can create with Zoho Sheets as long as your computer system has sufficient memory and processing power. However, if you want to make your spreadsheets available to others who do not have MS Office installed on their computers or do not have an account with Microsoft Exchange Server, then you should make sure that you choose wisely as far as size and complexity of your spreadsheets are concerned. At the end of the day we want our end users to be able to view and edit our spreadsheets without encountering any problems and without having to purchase additional software packages.
