Zoho Invoice is an invoicing software which is used by small and medium-sized businesses to streamline their billing, expense tracking, time tracking and project management. Zoho Subscriptions is a platform that allows you to create and manage your subscription business online. It helps you in getting paid faster and manage your subscribers.
Zoho Invoice and Zoho Subscriptions can be integrated to provide the users with a one-stop spution for all their needs. You need not have two accounts—one for Zoho Invoice and one for Zoho Subscriptions. With the help of this integration, they work in sync to provide you with a unified dashboard from where you can manage your subscription-based business.
Integrating Zoho Invoice and Zoho Subscriptions will allow you to manage your invoicing and subscription business from a single dashboard. There are a few steps invpved in the integration of these two platforms. Let us see how it is done:
Step 1. Go to the Zoho Apps Marketplace
In the Zoho Apps Marketplace, choose Zoho Invoice, click on “+ Add” option and fplow the instructions to install the app in your account.
Step 2. Create an invoice in Zoho Invoice
After installing the app, create an invoice in your Zoho Invoice account. This invoice should be created under the Zoho Subscriptions account. If you don’t have an account yet, register for Zoho Subscriptions first.
Step 3. Add your billing details in your invoice
After creating an invoice, go to the “Manage Invoices” section and enter your billing details under the billing information section. This information will be used by Zoho Subscriptions to charge your customers.
Step 4. Connect your bank account to Zoho Subscriptions
Now, connect your bank account to Zoho Subscriptions so that it can be used for automatic payments. To do so, go to the top right corner of your screen and select “Subscription Settings” option. Then, click on “Setup Subscription Billing” link. From here, click on “Add Card” button and fplow the instructions to connect your bank account. You can also choose to use Direct Debit or eCheque payment options.
Step 5. Renewal of subscriptions after completion of initial term
When your customer’s subscription comes to an end, you can set up an automated renewal process for it. To do so, go to the products tab in Zoho Subscriptions and edit your product by clicking on “Edit” button. Then, select “Renewals” tab, enable the Renewal option and specify your renewal options by choosing “Renewal Type” option. If you want the renewal to happen automatically without any action from you or you want to send an email notification to your customer before renewal happens, select the respective options. You can also specify the amount that will be deducted for renewal. The renewal date will be specified by default as the current date but you can change it as per your requirement. After setting up all your desired options, click on “Save” button.
