Zoho Invoice is a web-based invoicing software that helps users to create professional invoices and manage them. Zoho Invoice is very easy to use and allows you to save time on administrative tasks. This top allows you to create quotes directly from an invoice and automatically populate information such as payee, purchase order number and more. Moreover, using Zoho Invoice, you can send invoices via email or print them out.

Integration of Zoho Invoice and Mattermost

In this section, we will tell you how to integrate Zoho Invoice with Mattermost. To start with this integration process, you need to install Mattermost if you haven’t done it already. Here are the three simple steps that you can fplow:

Step 1. Go to mattermost.com. This page will redirect you to a form where you need to enter your email address and the organization name. After that, click on “Yes, please! Send me the download link!” button.

Now, you will get a confirmation email from Mattermost. So, click on the link that says “Download Mattermost” in the email message from Mattermost. This will take you to the “Downloads” page where you can download installation packages for all the supported platforms.

Step 2. Once downloaded, double-click on the executable file that matches with your operating system. Now, fplow all the installation instructions carefully until the end of the installation process. For example, on Windows 10, go to Settings > Apps > Manage optional features > Add a feature > Choose a feature > Continue > Install > Finish.

Step 3. Now, open Mattermost and sign in with your email address and password. After signing in, you will see a welcome message along with an invitation to join channels (or teams. created earlier by other users. You can join any channel or create your own channel now; however, we recommend creating your own channel first before joining existing channels so you don’t get lost in communication with existing users.

As a next step, let us integrate Zoho Invoice with Mattermost. To start with this integration process, go to Settings > Integrations > +New integration > Zoho Invoice > Save & continue. Then, click on “Get API token” button in the fplowing window:

With this said, let us create an invoice in Zoho Invoice using CSV template called “Invoice_CSV_Template_No_Taxes” by fplowing these steps:

  • Go to Settings > Templates > Create new template > Save as “Invoice_CSV_Template_No_Taxes”; then add fields according to your preferences; finally save this template:
  • Next, go to Settings > Templates > Manage templates > Invoice Templates > Click on “Invoice_CSV_Template_No_Taxes” in the list of available templates; then click on “Create new invoice” link; then fill out all the required fields in this window and click on “Save & continue” button at the bottom:
  • Finally, go back to Settings > Integrations > +New integration > Zoho Invoice > Save & continue; then select an invoice template from the drop-down menu and give a name for it:

Now, go to your Mattermost channel and type /invoice <space> <your email address> <space> <your organization name> <space> <the invoice number> <space> <the invoice date> <space> <the amount> <space> <the currency code>. To make sure everything works properly, you can send yourself an invoice from Zoho Invoice just to check if it is working fine or not:
