Zoho Inventory is a cloud-based inventory management software that helps business owners to manage their inventory efficiently. It has various modules like Sales, Purchase, Order, Inventory, Reports etc. It helps in managing the entire inventory process. Zoho Inventory can be integrated with other Zoho products like Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Desk etc. for better performance.
Shipcloud is an online shipping application that provides you with the features of shipping management. It has features like tracking, rate calculation, shipping labels etc. It helps in managing shipping process efficiently. It can be integrated with other Shipcloud products like Shipcloud Connect, Shipcloud Invoicing etc. for better performance.
Zoho Inventory and Shipcloud can be integrated in the fplowing ways:
Shipcloud can be integrated in Zoho Inventory in order to track inbound shipments. Zoho Inventory tracks inbound shipments when they are received at the warehouse. Shipcloud is an online shipping application that can be used to ship outbound shipments when they are ready to be shipped. When an item is ready for shipping in Zoho Inventory, it can be marked as “ready for shipping” or “ready for picking” from the inventory module of Zoho Inventory. This item is then added to a shipment in Shipcloud at the same time via a shipment document created by the user of Zoho Inventory. In this way, the user doesn’t have to go to Shipcloud at all to add an item to a shipment if the items are already added to a shipment in Shipcloud from Zoho Inventory.
Shipcloud can also be used to track inbound shipments through a shipment document created by the user of Shipcloud instead of using a shipment document created by the user of Zoho Inventory. In this way, a single user can create a shipment document from both ends – from Zoho Inventory as well as from Shipcloud. In this case, the shipment document created by the user of Shipcloud will contain information shared by both systems about the item being shipped. In addition, as both systems have access to the same shipment document, it is easier to keep track of shipments once they have been sent on either end.
Benefits of Integration of Zoho Inventory and Shipcloud include:
User Experience. The users on both ends will have a consistent user experience since they will be using a single interface system rather than two different systems for their inventory and shipping requirements respectively. Ease of Use. A single interface system makes it easier for users to manage their inventory and shipping requirements without having to use two different systems. Elimination of Duplication. With a single interface system, there is no need to duplicate information between two different systems which would otherwise result in data duplication and inconsistent data across two separate systems. Improved Productivity. A single interface system allows users to manage their inventory and shipping requirements without having to worry about making mistakes due to confusion between two separate systems and thereby reducing human errors and increasing productivity. Real-time Information. With a single interface system, real-time information can be accessed by users as there is no delay in checking inventory levels or tracking shipments as both data types are available on one platform without having to switch between two different platforms for this information. Complete Information. With a single interface system, all information pertaining to inventory and shipping requirements can be accessed without having to deal with two separate systems and hence eliminating any confusion regarding required information and ensuring complete information within one single platform. Dependability. With a single interface system, there is no risk of downtime as both systems are integrated and available on one platform and hence ensuring dependable and efficient information availability. Security. With a single interface system, security threats are reduced because there is no need for different passwords for each system. Risk Management. Risk management is improved with a single interface system as there are fewer ways for data theft or manipulation across multiple systems working together which are integrated but are not connected together by another third-party company. Improved Customer Service. With a single interface system, customers can receive more efficient customer services as the two systems are integrated which ensures better coordination between staff members working on different tasks which are related to inventory management or shipping management or both tasks combined into one task. Increased Efficiency. As there are fewer ways for data theft or manipulation across multiple systems working together which are integrated but are not connected together by another third-party company, increased efficiency can be achieved by minimizing lost time due to incorrect order deliveries or delayed shipments due to incorrect inventory updates across multiple systems working together. Improved Profitability. With fewer ways for data theft or manipulation across multiple systems working together which are integrated but are not connected together by another third-party company, business owners can achieve increased profitability through reduced costs incurred due to high employee turnover rates resulting from inefficient operations across multiple systems working together which are integrated but are not connected together by another third-party company. Improved Accountability. With fewer ways for data theft or manipulation across multiple systems working together which are integrated but are not connected together by another third-party company, business owners can improve accountability through improved transparency across multiple systems working together which are integrated but are not connected together by another third-party company.
