This application is integrated with several other Zoho apps like Zoho CRM and Zoho Sales. hunter is an open source project that cplects bug reports from different bug trackers and merge them into one place. It allows reports to be automatically merged across different bug trackers and also processes notifications. The project was started by Linus Torvalds and other Linux kernel developers in 2007. hunter was developed because the developers were not able to keep up with all bug reports and wanted something that can merge bug reports from different bug trackers.

Integration of Zoho Inventory and hunter

The Zoho integration API enables you to embed functionality from the inventory API into your own applications. You can access inventory API via API calls or through API keys. API keys are useful when you want to share API access with multiple users or applications. API calls, on the other hand, are useful if you only require a single API key. The API call uses a HTTP GET method, while API keys use a HTTP GET method as well as a HTTP POST method. The API key typically has a longer lifespan than API calls.

You can create an API key via the API Key Management page. You can then use this API key to make API calls. There are two ways to use the API key for API calls – using an instance ID or using a user ID. The instance ID is a unique identifier for instance objects, while the user ID is a unique identifier for user objects.

An API key has permissions associated with it. You can assign a permission level for each API key, which determines what the API key can do on the API calls. For example, you can restrict an API key from deleting instances or creating users. You can create a new permission level via the Permission level management page. Once the permission level has been created, you can then associate it with either an API key or an API call by using the Action dropdown menu. This allows you to contrp the actions that each API key or API call can perform on your inventory API.

For each API call, you can create an API key directly via the API call’s detail page. Each API call has its individual permissions associated with it, which you can then decide whether an API key should have full access or restricted access to that specific API call or not. All permissions are inherited by sub-calls; however, sub-calls cannot contrp the permission levels for sub-calls.
