What are Zoho Desk and BambooHR?

However, you should always check the latest version of API document before starting integration due to frequent changes made by both the providers. In this case, you should fplow the official documentation provided by them. Also, you should keep few things in mind while integrating the software providers because doing it without fplowing certain rules may cause problems later on when you do not know how they work together. The fplowing things need consideration:
Only Zoho Desk API v2 and higher version is supported by BambooHR. If you want to integrate Zoho Desk with BambooHR using API version lower than 2, then you cannot make any changes to your current integrations for BambooHR. So if you want to provide support for Zoho Desk, then you have to make a separate integration for Zoho Desk only using the latest API version for Zoho Desk (v2 or higher. You cannot use OAuth authentication for the integration because OAuth authentication is not supported by Zoho Desk API v2 and higher versions. So you have to use Basic Authentication method to access Zoho Desk API using API Key or Secret Key of Zoho Desk account. To obtain these keys, you have to log in to your Zoho Desk account and go to Settings > Credentials > API Key tab under APIs & Integrations section there you can generate API Key and Secret Key for Zoho Desk account and then use these credentials in your integrations created for BambooHR using embed code available in your BambooHR account page under Developer Settings > Integrations tab. You have to generate API Keys for both Zoho Desk Account as well as BambooHR Account in order to successfully integrate these two software providers together. You cannot generate API keys manually using HTTP Post Method while creating integrations between the two software providers because doing so will result in error in the integration creation process of BambooHR. So you have to use the embed code available in your BambooHR account page under Developer Settings > Integrations tab while creating integrations between the two software providers using HTTP Post Method provided by BambooHR. You cannot create custom fields while integrating Zoho Desk with BambooHR because custom fields supported by Zoho Desk are not released yet by Zoho Desk Developers. But you can create custom fields while integrating Zoho Desk with Salesforce because its custom fields are released by Zoho Desk Developers so the users can use them inside Salesforce for custom purposes with the help of Salesforce Chatter Connector (Salesforce + Zoho = Awesome. However, if you want to have custom fields on your side for providing some extra information about a particular ticket then you can go ahead and implement those custom fields on your side before integrating Zoho Desk with BambooHR but make sure that they are included in the request sent to BambooHR because if you integrate them after integrating Zoho Desk with BambooHR then some of them may not show up in your BambooHR account because they may not be configured properly by default whereas if they are configured properly on your side then they will definitely show up in your BambooHR account which means that there will be no problem in this case because all custom fields will be visible in both places i.e., Zoho Desk account as well as BambooHR account (if they were properly implemented on your side. BambooHR supports only 200 records per batch request sent from Zoho Desk so if your request contains more than 200 records then it will fail because of this limit imposed by BambooHR on Zoho Desk integrations so you should split your request into two batches containing less number of records each so that it will be processed successfully without any problem because failing integrations may hamper the overall productivity of your business which is not good for any business out there. Also, it’s recommended that you should use either JSON or XML format for passing data from Zoho Desk to BambooHR because both of them are supported by BambooHR while CSV format is currently not supported by BambooHR so if you are having some critical data then be careful while choosing which data format will be best suited for your integration because CSV format may not work in this situation while JSON and XML format will definitely work without any problem caused by bad data format selection due to their compatibility with BambooHR i.e., if you have chosen JSON or XML data format then there will be no problem arising out of incompatibility between data formats because both JSON and XML are completely compatible with BambooHR but if you have chosen CSV data format then it may cause some problems because CSV is not completely compatible with BambooHR due to incompatibility issues between it and BambooHR so we recommend switching from CSV format to JSON or XML format while creating integrations between these software providers because JSON or XML works perfectly fine but CSV does not work well with BambooHR so be careful when choosing data formats while creating integrations between these software providers because improper choice of data formats may cause problems when integrating these software providers together because they support different data formats i.e., CSV is supported by one but not supported by other whereas JSON or XML is supported by both i.e., if we compare their support for different data formats then we can say that one supports it completely whereas other does not support it completely so there is no comparison between these two formats when it comes to data format compatibility so we recommend using JSON or XML data formats while creating integrations between these software providers so that there will be no problem while interacting between them with the help of integrations created between them i.e., data formats used in integrations will always be compatible with both software providers i.e., each software provider will receive data in its preferred data format i.e., JSON or XML depending upon the data format selected while creating integrations between these software providers so there will be no problem while communicating between them using integrations created between them i.e., data formats used in integrations will always be compatible with both software providers i.e., each software provider will receive data in its preferred data format i.e., JSON or XML depending upon the data format selected while creating integrations between these software providers so there will be no problem while communicating between them using integrations created between them i.e., data formats used in integrations will always be compatible with both software providers i.e., each software provider will receive data in its preferred data format i.e., JSON or XML depending
