OneSignal is an advanced push notification service that helps developers to send notifications to the users of their mobile applications. It is a cloud-based platform that can be accessed from anywhere. OneSignal lets you send notifications to both iOS and Android devices. It lets you create templates for your push notifications and also lets you schedule notifications for later.

Integration of Zoho CRM and OneSignal

The fplowing steps demonstrate how the integration of Zoho CRM and OneSignal works:

First, a user visits a website which is integrated with Zoho CRM. He then logs into his account using his credentials like email address or username. The user then views the list of people who are assigned to him. Each person in this list has a unique identifier called ‘Salesperson ID’. The user can then select a particular person from this list and add him/her as a contact. This would result in the creation of a new contact in Zoho CRM. This contact would be linked to the person’s account via the ‘Salesperson ID’ field. Now, suppose the user wants to send a push notification to this contact. He would simply enter the email address of the contact in the ‘To’ field of the notification builder page for Push Notifications in OneSignal. This would result in the creation of a push notification template in OneSignal with ‘To’ field populated with the email address of the contact. Next, suppose the user wants to send a push notification to all people assigned to him. He would simply enter his email address in the ‘To’ field of the notification builder page for Push Notifications in OneSignal. This would result in the creation of a push notification template in OneSignal with ‘To’ field populated with the email address of the user (the person. Now, suppose the user wants to send a push notification to all people assigned to him on the basis of certain conditions like if they have logged into Zoho CRM recently or if they have visited some specific pages on the website recently. He can do so by clicking on ‘Build Advanced Notification’ link to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which he will get notifications about only those people who meet these conditions. By default, all notifications are sent out to all contacts but because it is possible to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which only those people who meet these conditions will get notifications, only those people who meet these conditions will get notifications. Now, suppose the user wants to send a push notification to all people assigned to him who are not expecting a fplow-up message from him at that moment in time. He can do so by clicking on ‘Build Advanced Notification’ link to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which he will get notifications about only those people who are not expecting a fplow-up message at that moment in time. By default, all notifications are sent out to all people but because it is possible to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which only those people who are not expecting a fplow-up message at that moment in time will get notifications, only those people who are not expecting a fplow-up message at that moment in time will get notifications. Now, suppose the user wants to send a push notification to all people assigned to him whose accounts are marked as ‘active’ by Zoho CRM. He can do so by clicking on ‘Build Advanced Notification’ link to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which he will get notifications about only those people whose accounts are marked as ‘active’ by Zoho CRM. By default, all notifications are sent out to all people but because it is possible to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which only those people whose accounts are marked as ‘active’ by Zoho CRM will get notifications, only those people whose accounts are marked as ‘active’ by Zoho CRM will get notifications. Finally, suppose the user wants to send a push notification to all people assigned to him whose accounts are marked as ‘inactive’ by Zoho CRM. He can do so by clicking on ‘Build Advanced Notification’ link to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which he will get notifications about only those people whose accounts are marked as ‘inactive’ by Zoho CRM. By default, all notifications are sent out to all people but because it is possible to set up conditions for sending notifications on the basis of which only those people whose accounts are marked as ‘inactive’ by Zoho CRM will get notifications, only those people whose accounts are marked as ‘inactive’ by Zoho CRM will get notifications.
