After organizing your sources into an outline format, you should then pick which pieces of information you’re going to include in your paper and which ones you’re going to exclude from your paper. Then after discarding certain pieces of information from your sources, you should include those pieces of information in your paper as evidence for your thesis statement (which should be located in the introduction paragraph. After including all of the evidence for your thesis statement in the introduction paragraph of your paper, you should begin writing the body paragraphs of your research paper by first stating the main idea that each body paragraph will contain and then giving examples or first hand experiences that support that main idea. After writing all of the body paragraphs of your paper, you should then write a conclusion paragraph summarizing the main points that were made in the body paragraphs of your paper and restating your thesis statement from the introduction paragraph of your paper. Lastly, after writing a conclusion paragraph, you should finally write a works cited page citing any sources that were used in making your research paper so that readers can easily look up those sources for further information about the subject matter presented in your research paper.
