You can set up the integration of these two services in different ways. In this article, I am going to explain how to create an alert based on a ticket from Zendesk. To create an alert, fplow the fplowing steps:

  • Log into your account on Zendesk.
  • Go to Administration > Notifications > Alerts and select Create New Alert.
  • Select Set a customizable trigger and then click Next.
  • Select Ticket creation from the list of triggers and then click Next.
  • Select the ticket type for which you want to get the alert and then click Next.
  • Select the ticket owner for whom you want to get an alert and then click Next.
  • Click More options if you want to edit additional settings and then click Finish.
  • Check the Enable this alert checkbox if you want to enable the alert and then click Save Alert.
  • The alert is created; now go to My Account > Notifications tab > alerts and check the status of the alert as “created” or “pending” status depending on when you have created the alert or it has not been created yet.
  • After few minutes or hours, you will receive an alert on your mobile phone via SMS text message with information about the ticket that has been created in Zendesk.
