Xero has been in the market since 2008. They were the first cloud accounting software that was used by small businesses. Before Xero, most people used Quickbooks.

SharpSpring is a cloud-based marketing automation platform. It is based in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2010 and they have clients from around the world. They raised $8 million in venture capital from several investors like 500 Startups and Social+Capital Partnership.

SharpSpring provides its services through a Software as a Service (SaaS. model. This is how the company makes money. Most of the money comes from monthly subscriptions and some come from transaction fees when users make payments.

The integration of Xero and SharpSpring allows users to make their marketing strategies more efficient. The integration allows users to sync the data between the two platforms like contacts, customers, opportunities and sales. Users can also import contacts from Outlook into SharpSpring or export them from SharpSpring back to Outlook. This helps users move contacts between the two platforms with ease. The integration also makes it easy for users to use both platforms at once since they are now connected. This means that users can create leads on one platform and then nurture them on the other platform automatically.
