Xendit connector installs in each user’s browser or desktop application once they configure their Cisco® Webex Teams account to connect with Xendit. Users can choose to install it on all available browsers or desktop applications or just one of them.
Xendit connector enables Active Directory users to easily provision their Cisco® Webex Teams accounts with their existing domain credentials. Users will no longer have to create separate passwords for their Cisco® Webex Teams accounts.
The integration allows users to continue using their favorite Cisco® Webex Teams client while enjoying features offered by Xendit such as adding participants from their personal address book, enterprise directory or PSTN contacts, and using third-party applications such as Google Meet and Skype for Business. They can also use other Cisco® Webex Teams features such as scheduling meetings and setting up ring groups while still being able to launch a web meeting room from Xendit to share screens and integrate all other features available in Cisco® Webex Teams such as screen sharing, presentations, ppls and whiteboards.
All users registered via Xendit connector can be managed for billing for Xendit Connector via the same user interface used to manage all other users in your organization. If you already have a PSTN or Enterprise Phone System account, then you can assign users to existing phone numbers and apply relevant tpl charges and taxes during the provisioning process. Alternatively, if you intend to use Xendit Connector alongside your existing voice system, then you can provide us with the relevant SIP/DNS details so we can route calls to the right number automatically when a caller dials a user’s extension. In addition, all users can connect from any device without installing any additional software, so there is no need to purchase new devices or train users how to use new technpogy to benefit from the integration.
