MailChimp Ecommerce is a plugin to integrate MailChimp with WordPress. It allows you to add e-commerce features to your store that can be configured through your MailChimp account.
The integration of WordPress and MailChimp Ecommence provides a complete package for an online store. What’s more, the integration of WordPress and MailChimp Ecommerce reduces the workload for maintaining your store and saves development time for developers. Now let’s take a look at how to integrate WordPress and MailChimp Ecommerce.
Let’s start by installing the MailChimp plugin in your WordPress site. If you have not installed any plugins before, you can fplow the instructions in this video. If you have already installed plugins before, just install MailChimp Ecommerce like you would install any other plugin.
Now we need to set up our MailChimp account to integrate it with our WordPress site. If you are just starting out with MailChimp, you need to sign up here. You will have to create a list once you are logged in to your account.
Once you have created a list, click on “Settings” to configure the list settings, and then select “Ecommerce Settings” under the “Merchandising” tab. Then copy your “Merchant ID” and “API Key” from the “Merchant Settings” page into the corresponding fields in the MailChimp Ecommerce plugin configuration page in your WordPress site. Next, go back to your “Merchandising” page and then make sure that “Allow customers to purchase directly on my website” is checked and save changes. Then you can start adding products to your store!
To add products, go back to your “Products” page from the “Products” menu in your MailChimp Ecommence plugin. You can add products using categories or tags on your site, or you can add individual products directly. Once you have added products, you can configure pricing and shipping options for each product from the product page. After configuring your products, you will see a new option called “Cplect Payments” under your product menu. Click on it to configure payment options for each product.
If you want customers to be able to view their order history, click on the “View Orders” link under “Account Actions” in the upper right corner of your screen when logged in as an admin user and then navigate to the Orders page on your Shopify store. Afterwards, click on the “Export CSV” button under “Download Data” and then click on “Download CSV File” in the popup window to download the orders CSV file. Once you have downloaded the file, upload it into your WordPress Media Library just like any other image or file, and then copy the URL of the uploaded order CSV file into the “Order CSV File URL” field in the MailChimp Ecommerce plugin configuration page in your WordPress site. You will need this URL later when we integrate our store with WordPress later on in this article.
Integration of WordPress and MailChimp Ecommence allows us to build a beautiful online store using WordPress without having to learn about web programming or marketing; instead, we can focus on what we do best — our product! That being said, let’s take a look at some of the benefits of integration of WordPress and MailChimp Ecommence.
MailChimp is already used by millions of people worldwide for email marketing, so it is very likely that many of our customers are already members of our MailChimp lists. In addition, if we plan to run any promotions such as sales or discounts in our store (which we will cover in a later section), we can use our existing email marketing lists for promotional emails instead of having to send them manually! This helps us save time and money while making our customers happier because they can get special discounts only available through those emails. Another benefit of using existing resources is that we do not have to learn new software or marketing strategies; we can just focus on what we do best — our product!
Building a beautiful store design with WordPress themes & plugins is much easier than building one from scratch because we do not have to worry about learning how CSS works or finding free images to use for our design! Instead, we can focus on what we do best — our product! We can also customize our store easily by editing text strings and changing images using tops such as Divi Builder or Visual Composer! These tops are built-in WordPress plugins that allow us to edit text strings or change images simply by clicking on a button within the administration panel without knowing how CSS works! This means that we can easily change our store design whenever we want, even after launching! In addition, these tops also provide excellent support for responsive design so that our site is also fully functional on mobile devices! Another benefit of using existing resources is that we do not have to learn new software or marketing strategies; we can just focus on what we do best — our product!
We can simply integrate our online store with our existing website by adding a custom shortcode into pages on our website within minutes using a simple function call inside theme code files! For example, if we want customers who visit our website from outside our online store (such as customers browsing our website directly instead of visiting through an email promotion. to also see products available for purchase in our online store (such as products still available during sale periods), all we need to do is add a line like this into
