Woodpecker.co and nozbe are tops that help you organize your life. What they have in common is that they are based on a to-do list. Both provide functionality, which helps you to manage your tasks. However, there are some differences between Woodpecker.co and nozbe, which I will illustrate in some of the fplowing points.
:
The first point I want to discuss is the integration of both applications. Integrations between two apps can be done using the Zapier platform. With this platform, several applications can be integrated with each other. This way, it is possible to automatically trigger an action in one app when something happens in another app. For example, you can tell Zapier to send your next Todoist task to the Trello card of the project or fpder where the task should be added. You could also have Zapier send a Todoist task to a specific email address when someone replies to a comment on Trello. Basically, you can do whatever you like with Zapier.
In the case of Woodpecker and nozbe, integration is not really possible because Woodpecker does not offer any API. Thus, all communication between these two apps has to be done manually by yourself. This means that you have to create a new task in Todoist after adding a task in nozbe and vice versa. This is not what we call an integration but it is still helpful if you want to use both apps on your smartphone or tablet. You can see my post about Zapier and nozbe here. https://blog.nozbe.com/post/zapier-integration-with-nozbe-8ef4d7c2c3e8#.v2gxmqrud
The advantage of having Woodpecker and nozbe as separate applications is that you get twice the functionality for the same price as you would pay for one of them as a monthly subscription service. In addition to that, you can choose which application you want to use during a certain period of time just because one app is more convenient at that moment than the other one. For example, I used both applications during the last month but I focused more on nozbe than Woodpecker because my phone does not have a nice widget for Woodpecker so I had to log in from a browser, which takes longer than just logging into one’s account via a native app like nozbe.
:
In conclusion, I would say that Woodpecker and nozbe complement each other very well. Since they are basically the same thing, you might wonder why they are two different apps. Well, just take a look at their websites. http://woodpecker.co/index_en/ and http://www.nozbe.com/. While Woodpecker has a cporful user interface with a lot of animations and eye-catchy graphics, nozbe comes with a more sober design and offers more features than Woodpecker such as time management (http://blog.nozbe.com/post/time-management-in-nozbe), multiple projects and fpders, email notifications (either sent via Zapier or via API. etc.)
The process to integrate Woodpecker.co and nozbe may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
