Integration of Woodpecker.co and Google Groups

Woodpecker.co is a new startup that offers an online platform to organize, share and participate in meetings, small groups and large events. Google Groups is one of the most popular online discussion forums with more than 10 million members. Both companies offer different services, but they are both concerned with helping users communicate, cplaborate and organize their lives and schedules.

Google Groups is an online discussion forum, which allows users to create or join online communities around any topic. Each community has a unique name within the domain groups.google.com. Members can post messages, reply to existing posts, ask questions and even subscribe to email updates on specific topics or groups. All Google Groups content is publicly visible on the Internet, and members may choose to share messages privately by invitation or require approval before posting.

Woodpecker.co offers a platform for organizing, sharing and participating in meetings, small groups and large events via cplaboration tops such as document editing, video calling and screen sharing, social networking and instant messaging. Woodpecker.co also offers a way for joining or creating community groups based on a particular interest related to a certain geographic area or common interest.

Integration of Woodpecker.co and Google Groups could allow users to organize large events by using Google Groups’ organizational features while using Woodpecker.co’s cplaboration tops to schedule and manage small groups within the larger event. This would provide more options for organizing large events, especially those with multiple small groups of people who might not necessarily know each other but have similar interests or goals. For example, a conference on music could be organized in three separate ways. 1. one large group with a general list serve; 2. several small groups with a larger list serve; and 3. several small groups with their own dedicated lists serve and private web pages. According to Woodpecker's website, "Google Groups is integrated directly into the platform. Users can access it from the left hand navigation menu under “Communications”."

The integration of these two platforms would benefit both companies by expanding Woodpecker’s audience to include current Google Groups users and vice versa. This would expand Woodpecker’s user base and increase the quality of its service by allowing it to keep track of how people are using its services and better tailor those services to meet their needs. It would also create a networking opportunity for Woodpecker.co by allowing it to reach out to Google Group members with invitations to join Woodpecker.co. Users who might not have been actively looking for something like Woodpecker could be drawn to the platform because of its integration with Google Groups.

The process to integrate Woodpecker.co and Google Groups may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
