WHMCS is a fully-featured, industry leading billing and support system. It was designed to be easily integrated with other software sputions that are often used by web hosts, such as cPanel, PostgreSQL, etc. WHMCS has many features which include creating invoices, accepting payments, creating quotes, providing customer support, tracking sales statistics, providing sales funnel analysis, and much more.

BulkGate is an online billing spution for website owners who want to integrate their existing WHMCS installation into their existing ecommerce spution. BulkGate provides the ability to accept credit card payments through any of the popular gateways including Authorize.net, PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout, WorldPay, and more.

  • Integration of WHMCS and BulkGate
  • The integration between WHMCS and BulkGate is very easy. First you need to create an account on BulkGate. This will require you to enter your information like name, address, phone number, email address, etc. Once you have created an account you can login to your account. Once you are logged in you will need to create a new gateway. On the Gateway Management page you can see all of your gateways that are currently setup. If you click on one of the gateways you will be taken to the Edit Gateway page. The Edit Gateway page includes all of the configuration options for that specific gateway. In order to add a new gateway the only thing that you need to do is add a new Credit Card Gateway. In order to add a new credit card gateway all you need to do is click the Add New button. After clicking the Add New button you will be asked to provide several required fields about your gateway in order to get it working in BulkGate. Some of the required fields include:

    Name. The name of your gateway in BulkGate. This name will help you identify what type of gateway it is in bulkgate.com when you manage your gateways.

    API Key. An API key is a unique identifier that is generated for each gateway in order to connect it with the rest of BulkGate.

    URL. The URL that needs to be used when making credit card charges through your gateway. This will typically be a URL that charges through your bank’s website/api, but could also be an url that charges through a third party service like PayPal or Authorize.Net if they provide a friendly URL option.

    Billing Address. The billing address for your gateway. This can be a physical address or a PO Box address depending on your specific gateway’s requirements.

    Email address. An email address that will be used for the transaction records and notifications on transactions made via this gateway.

    Phone Number. A phone number that will be used for the transaction records and notifications on transactions made via this gateway.

    Credit Card Type. The type of credit card that can be charged through this gateway (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc..

    Phone Verification. Whether or not phone verification is required for this credit card type (if enabled an authorization call will be made to the provided phone number.

    Approval Code Length. The length of approval code that should be used on approval codes generated by this new gateway (usually 3 or 4 digits.

    Merchant ID. A merchant ID that is used by the providers of this gateway (this does not need to be entered into BulkGate but may be used by some providers.

    Scheme. Your credit card method’s scheme (e.g., “https://”. Please check with your provider if necessary.
