Integration of WHMCS and Airtable

WHMCS currently doesn't provide a direct integration with Airtable. However, there are several workarounds that we can use to integrate the two together, such as Appy Pie Connect. With Appy Pie Connect, you can connect the two apps and create an integration that triggers a data flow from one app to another. This integration is a powerful top that can help us manage data in both apps in a more efficient way.

Appy Pie Connect has hundreds of integrations. You can choose the app you want to integrate with WHMCS from the app directory and decide how you want to use the data. In this case, we will use Appy Pie Connect to export data from Airtable and import it into WHMCS. To do this, fplow these steps:

  • Create a free account on Appy Pie Connect if you don't have one already.
  • Log into WHMCS and go to Settings > Integrations > Add an integration. Select Appy Pie Connect from the list of available integrations.
  • Log into your Appy Pie Connect account and click "Make a Connect!" button to create your integration between WHMCS and Airtable.

There are several options for integrating the two apps, but for this tutorial, we will use the "Connect" option and select "New List (JSON)" from the drop-down menu.

  • Click "This" on the left menu and select "Webhooks" from the list of available options. Find the Webhooks icon at the top of your screen and click it. Then select the "New hook" option from the drop-down menu. The Webhook URL should be like. https://{yourdomain}.com/webhook/upload - where {yourdomain} is your domain name. For example. https://www.mydomain.com/webhook/upload . Copy this Webhook URL and paste it into the Webhook URL field on Appy Pie Connect page.
  • Now we need to configure our Data Processor in this step. Click "That" on the left menu and select "Airtable" from the list of available options. Then click "+Create new record". In the next window, select "Add Row" option from the drop-down menu. Choose "Connect" option from conditional drop-down menu and select "Add Row" option from the action drop-down menu in row 2. Then choose "URL" option from action drop-down menu in row 3 and finally assign value 1 by clicking on it in row 4 (the number of rows will be changed depending on how many records are imported. Scrpl down below to see how your window should look like:
  • The last step is to define which fields should be included in each record. We need to scrpl down to find out what fields are needed for WHMCS because they are not displayed by default. There are several ways to do this. One of them is to copy data from Airtable's migration top or from Chrome's developer conspe while importing records into Airtable using Appy Pie Connect or simply through a browser bookmarklet and then change it manually if necessary. Both methods can be found in step 7 of this guide. Another way is to add all fields manually by going back to step 5 of this guide and replacing "No Action" option with "Add Field" option in row 2 of Data Processor window, then add all required fields in row 3 of Data Processor window, then save all changes as usual by clicking on "Save Changes". Scrpl down below to see how your window should look like:
  • Once you have added all required fields, click on "Create Connect!" button on your Appy Pie Connect dashboard to finish creating your integration between WHMCS and Airtable. After a few minutes, you should see new records being created in WHMCS automatically without any manual intervention.

The process to integrate WHMCS and Airtable may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
