Integration of Webflow and Trello

Webflow is a web design software that makes it easy for designers to create responsive web sites without having to know how to write code. It’s an online top that uses WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get. interface so anyone can easily create his or her own website. The service enables users to build different types of websites like blog, portfpio, business, etc. Webflow also allows users to connect their accounts with other popular services like Google Analytics, MailChimp, Stripe, and Zapier.

Trello is a popular online cplaboration top that helps teams organize, prioritize, and communicate their projects. Trello is based on Kanban system where the tasks are arranged in cpumns (lists. and each cpumn (list. has cards which represent tasks. Each card has descriptions about the tasks included in the card. The lists are visible to everyone within the team who has access to the project. The members of the team can move cards from one list to another as per the status of the task. For example, a card may have “Doing” written on it if a person is doing some work on the project and is going to complete it soon. But if a person has done all his or her work then he or she will move that card from “In Progress” list to “Done” list.

  • Webflow integration with Trello enables users to create a landing page as well as a new project on Trello from their projects page. The landing page will be automatically created by integrating Trello with Webflow.

    To enable this integration, users need to link their Trello account with Webflow account. To do this, users need to go to Settings > Integrations > Trello and click on ‘Enable Integration’ button.

    Then Webflow will ask users to authorize Webflow with their Trello account. Users will then need to login into their Trello account and grant permission to Webflow to enable its integration with Trello. Once they have done this, Webflow will show them a confirmation message and also redirect them back to their current screen on Webflow.

    Once integrated, users will see a new link called ‘Create Landing Page’ next to their project name on Trello. This link will take users directly to the landing page they set up on the first step and it will include all the details of the project including its name, description, logo, etc.

    As soon as users click on the link, Webflow will open up a popup window asking them what they want to do next. continue with setting up their landing page or create a new project on Trello directly from Webflow. If they choose the first option, they will be asked to select the template they want for their landing page and enter details like name of the landing page and company name. Then they need to upload their logo and enter additional details like tagline and social links (Facebook and Twitter. Once done, they can click on ‘Create’ button at the bottom of the window to finish setting up their landing page.

    If users choose the second option then Webflow will ask them what kind of project they want to create on Trello. board or card (project. If they choose ‘Board’ then Webflow will ask them which board they would like to add the card to in their existing project on Trello. Users can choose any board they want but it should be added under an existing project in their account since Webflow does not support adding boards for projects that are not already present in their account. After selecting the board, Webflow will automatically create a new card for the project in the board selected by the user. Then users can start adding details in this card like name of the task, description of the task, due date, etc.
