Users can also import videos from computers or cameras into their accounts and then access them through an FTP server or download them to their computers directly with an FTP client program. Users may also import videos from social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. In addition, users may choose to convert uploaded videos with third party applications. The site also has completed support for high definition video playback with help from the VP8 video codec.
Video creators can upload up to 500 MB files via FTP, although this may require a fee for storage space depending on the amount of data being uploaded.
