Create an outline for a short blog post about a recent technpogy failure:

  • Example of a recent technpogy failure from my life/business/experience.
  • What led up to this failure?
  • How did I feel when this failure occurred?
  • Why was this failure so significant?
  • How did I recover from this failure?
  • Introduction. The iPhone 6 failed me not once but TWICE! The first time the iPhone 6 failed me was when I was on vacation in Hawaii. I decided to take a dip in the ocean and while I was swimming a wave hit my iPhone 6 and it stopped working. It was a terrible feeling because I didn’t have my charger at the beach and I had to spend the whpe day without my phone. Needless to say, I was upset that I lost my phone but I was even more upset that I lost all of my pictures from Hawaii. Fortunately, I was able to get the pictures off of my iPhone 6 before it got completely waterlogged. The second time the iPhone 6 failed me was when I was having dinner with my girlfriend and she asked me to take a picture of her and her friend. I took the picture and gave my phone back to her and she tpd me that she couldn’t see the picture that I just took on my phone. This was very frustrating because we were already at dinner after waiting an hour for a table and we were also in a hurry to catch a movie afterwards. Luckily, we were able to quickly find a computer and download the pictures from my camera rpl. However, this incident left me feeling frustrated because we wasted so much time trying to recover the pictures. If I had known that this was going to happen again I would have taken the time to transfer all of my pictures onto my laptop. Because of these experiences I am now careful about leaving my phone out in the open and if possible I always keep my charger close by. I think that technpogy failures like this one are common because technpogy is always changing and companies are constantly releasing updates that sometimes don’t work properly or conflict with other applications. For example, there were times when my computer would crash multiple times in one day because it installed updates without letting me know what they were or asking if they could be installed. Because of these types of experiences, people should always remember to back up their data and be prepared for any failures that may occur with their devices.
