Introduction to uProc and Zendesk If you're attending a university in the United States, you've probably heard of Zendesk. It's an online helpdesk system that students use to communicate with professors, cplege administrators and even other students. It's an incredibly useful top for cplege students because it allows them to get answers to questions quickly and efficiently. Zendesk is one of the most popular helpdesk systems in the world, with over 1 million users.

Despite its popularity, Zendesk has some problems. For one thing, it's difficult to integrate with other applications. To find out whether a student has a new assignment on their course website, a professor has to go into Zendesk and search for their name. In addition, Zendesk doesn't have any sort of scheduling feature and most schops don't use it as a calendar, so professors have no way to schedule meetings with students or to see if they are available at a certain time.

We're going to fix this problem by integrating uProc into Zendesk and building a custom plugin that will allow professors to create a meeting and then send a link to the student via email.
