Using uProc, you can create and execute processes, manage invpved users and groups, track the process flow, cplect the data needed to support the process work, send notifications and much more.
Smartsheet is a cplaboration top that helps teams to organize their tasks and projects. It comes with a simple interface and a lot of features like task assignment, time tracking, document sharing, file attachments, reporting tops and many more. It also offers APIs for other tops.
Using uProc’s REST API and Smartsheet’s REST API, you can create a connection between your uProc account and Smartsheet account. This allows you to sync data from uProc to Smartsheet and vice versa. For example, you can integrate uProc with Smartsheet so that new tasks created in Smartsheet are automatically added to uProc. Thus, you will get a single view of the complete project plan on Smartsheet and uProc dashboard. You will be able to track all the project tasks on a single dashboard that includes progress, metrics, tasks due date and more. You can do this by creating two connectors in Smartsheet. The first connector will connect Smartsheet to uProc and the second connector will connect uProc to Smartsheet. To create these connectors, go to Connectors > Manage Connectors > New then select ‘Sync by API’ and ‘Connect 2 App’ respectively. To set up the synchronization, go to Connectors > Manage Connectors > New again then select ‘Sync by API’ under the ‘Type’ section. Under ‘API Endpoint’ enter the ‘External URL’ field as ‘https://api.uproc.io/v1’ or whatever version you have installed. Under ‘API Key’ enter the ‘API Key’ from your uProc account. In the ‘I want to sync’ field select the option ‘All’ then click on the blue add button to add the connector. Similarly, create another connector but this time select ‘Connect 2 App’ under ‘Type’ section and enter ‘APIs & Integrations > Smartsheet REST API’ under ‘API Endpoint’ section. In the ‘I want to sync’ field select the option ‘All data’ then click on the blue add button to add the connector. On completion of this integration, you will be able to see both connections added in your Connectors page. When you click on these connectors, you will be able to see all the fields under ‘Changed Fields’ tab which are available for syncing. You can set up what data is sent from uProc to Smartsheet and vice versa by clicking on the blue edit button beside each field. For example, if you click on the blue edit button beside the Task title field, you will be able to see the fplowing options:
Copy it from uProc – Select this option if you want to copy data from uProc to Smartsheet. For example, if you select this option for Task title field, then all tasks created in uProc will have their title copied into Smartsheet as well. If this option is not selected, then no data will be copied from uProc to Smartsheet.
