If you can’t write a single sentence, how do you expect to write a full-fledged article Even if you know how to organize your ideas and write a well-structured article, your writing skills may still be weak. This means that you can’t convey your ideas clearly and don’t have the proper vocabulary to use.
That’s why we wrote this guide on how to improve your writing skills for the TOEFL iBT. It contains the fplowing sections:

That means that each individual question will have its own page, with the exception of some questions which have one text box on both sides. Since each question has its own page, this means that you will have 2 pages per question in total. This means that you will have two pages to answer Question 1, two pages for Question 2, etc., until you have used up all 6 pages. Example Let’s say that Question 1 asks about “The Impact of Digitalization on Society” and has 3 lines for writing. This means that there are 6 lines in total. If Question 1 had only 3 lines, there would be only 3 lines in total (3 lines for Question 1 + 3 lines for Question 2. How is the TOEFL iBT’s article scored The article is scored based on the number of words used in each paragraph (this includes the question stem. and number of lines per paragraph (excluding the lines in the question stem. So if you answer Question 1 using 6 lines (the maximum allowed per question is 6), but use only 3 lines in every paragraph (2 lines per paragraph is the minimum required), then Answer 1 is not scored highly since there were too few lines per paragraph. However, if you only have one paragraph for each question, then it doesn’t matter if you have a topic sentence or a main idea in each sentence! How many paragraphs should each question have Each question should have at least 2 paragraphs. In many cases though, there will be at least 3 paragraphs per question. In other words, every question should have at least 2 paragraphs and no more than 4 paragraphs! Use these formulas to calculate how many paragraphs each question has. Maximum amount of paragraphs. [# Lines] x [# Lines Per Paragraph] = [Max # of Paragraphs] Minimum amount of paragraphs. [# Lines] - [# Lines Per Paragraph] = [Min # of Paragraphs] For example. Let’s say Question 1 asks about “The Impact of Digitalization on Society” and has 6 lines for writing AND there are 2 lines per paragraph (the minimum.
