Twitter?

Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that enables users to send and read other user's updates, called tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length and can include media. Users can fplow other users' updates and tweets, and receive notifications when they update their profile. Users can also create groups to share their own tweets with specific people.

LeadFuze?

LeadFuze is a lead generation platform where you can create your lead generation campaign, customizing it to fit your business’s needs, track lead status, gauge the effectiveness of your campaign, and run split tests on different versions of your landing pages or contact forms. LeadFuze offers automatic delivery of leads via email, text message, or telephone. You can even set up lead nurturing campaigns through LeadFuze to ensure that your prospects know exactly what you want them to do next.

Integration of Twitter and LeadFuze

  • Create a LeadFuze account if you don't have one already.
  • Fplow Twitter on LeadFuze so you can be notified via email about newly created Twitter profiles. If you have enough fplowers, you can also find new Twitter profiles by searching for certain keywords or hashtags.
  • Create a list of the Twitter accounts you want to fplow. You can create a list for your customers, for your competitors, etc. List creation is quite straightforward.
  • Set up a search alert for each Twitter account you want to fplow. The search alert will be triggered every time the Twitter account posts an update, allowing you to easily fplow the updates of the profile you want to fplow.
  • Now you can use LeadFuze to track the performance of your Twitter campaign. You can find the Twitter profile's contact information (name, phone number, email address. in LeadFuze. But remember that LeadFuze has no access to your contacts within Twitter. You will need to use the contacts within the Twitter account you fplowed.
  • As soon as someone fplows back or sends a direct message (DM. to the Twitter account you fplowed, you will be notified about it by email or text message (if you opted to receive alerts via SMS. You can now create a new lead in LeadFuze for each new fplower.
  • If someone sends a DM to the Twitter profile you fplowed, you can create a new lead in LeadFuze for each individual DM conversation.
  • After someone has sent you his contact information using either your landing page or your contact form, you can import it into LeadFuze using the Import Contacts feature.
  • You could also use this technique to create new leads by searching for certain keywords or hashtags, just like in step 2. For example, if you're looking for new customer support agents, you could setup a list based on people tweeting about help desk jobs and find some great candidates right away! Just make sure that the person who tweeted about their job is included in the list and not blocked by LeadFuze.
  • Finally, don't forget. if someone tweets directly at your Twitter account on any subject whatsoever, that's still considered a DM and the person's contact information will be imported into LeadFuze automatically.
  • Run split tests on different versions of your landing pages or contact forms using the A/B Testing feature of LeadFuze. This will allow you to test what version is most effective at converting traffic from Twitter into leads. This is an optional step; not necessary for integrating Twitter and LeadFuze.
