Twilio is a cloud-based communication platform that enables developers to build, scale and operate communications applications. It is a programmable communications platform as a service (PCPaaS. Twilio allows software developers to use its service to send and receive phone calls, SMS or MMS messages, and faxes over the Internet by connecting to web applications.
