Trello is a project management top that comes with a Kanban board, a Calendar view and is available as a web application or as a desktop application for Mac OSX and Microsoft Windows. It allows users to organize any project into cards, which represent tasks. These cards can be moved from one list to another as the team completes them.
Google Calendar is a free online calendar service from Google which helps users to keep track of time and schedule their day-to-day activities. It offers functions such as event planning, email reminders and an email address book.
I have chosen to integrate these two tops because they have many features in common with each other which will be useful for me. First of all, you can create a board called “To do” on Trello, so I can use it as a “to do” list, where I can write down the tasks I have to do with cpours and labels to categorize them with tags. During the week, I have to do most of my tasks on the Google Calendar app and on Microsoft Outlook. However, I can use one of these apps to set up a meeting with my professors and tutors on the Google Calendar app and the Trello app for my assignments, but then I will need to find my assignments on the Trello app and my timetable on the Google Calendar app. This will make things easier as I can see my timetable on one page and my assignments on another page without having to search for them. Also, I will be able to see which assignment I should work on next by looking at my calendar and my tasks on the Trello board.
I think that the integration of these two apps will be very useful for me because it will organize my daily activities and will offer me more time to spend with friends and family. Also, if I come across some new ideas or needs I want to change in my daily activities, I will be able to do so easily by using both of these apps. Finally, it will be easier for me to communicate with my team members as I will be able to share the different projects with them on the board, so they will come across my new ideas or needs too.
