Step 1. Open up Trello and go to settings by clicking on your profile icon in the top right corner of the page. Then click ‘Connected Apps’ in the left sidebar menu.

Step 2. Once in Connected Apps, click on ‘Connect new app’. You will be taken to a page where you will have to choose which app you want to connect. Select ‘Canny’ from the list and click on ‘Connect’.

Step 3. Now you will be asked to connect your Canny account with Trello. To do this, log in to your Canny account and search for your API key in the ‘Your API Keys’ section of your Canny dashboard. Copy this API key and paste it in Trello’s API key field and hit ‘Connect’.

Once you have connected these two platforms, you will be able to connect them in your Trello board through a few simple steps. Here’s how you can do it:

Go to your Trello board and click on the card that you want to connect to Canny. Click on ‘More’ and then click on ‘Connect with Canny’. On the next page, enter your Canny API key in the field provided and hit ‘Connect with Canny’ again. After connecting with Canny, you will see a new card added below the card you were working with earlier containing the details of that specific project.
