Integration of Trello and Shift4Shop (formerly 3dcart)

Trello?

  • Trello is a project management top that allows users to organize lists. It can be used to organize everything from daily tasks to complex projects and can also serve as a communication channel for teams working together on projects. You can use Trello to create boards to organize your projects into different lists. There are no limits to the number of boards you can have, and you can give each board a name.
  • Once you have created a list, you can add cards to your list, representing different items you need to do in order to complete the project. Each card has a checklist that you can fill out to track your progress. You can attach files or images to each card, if needed. You can also add labels to each card. Labels make it easier for you and your team members to search for tasks within a specific project. For example, if you’re creating a board with multiple checklists for different projects, you can label each checklist with a word that describes what the checklist is relating to, like “Project 1” or “Project 2.” This way, you and your team members will know which checklist they should be looking at when they search the board for something.
  • As your project progresses, you can easily move cards around by dragging them from one list to another on the same board or to another board on your account. If you want to share your board with other team members, just click the button at the top of any board and select the desired team members.
  • Trello also lets you add comments to cards, which is great for cplaboration. You can also leave yourself messages, which will appear at the bottom of any page in the app. These are called notes and are useful if you want to leave a note about something for yourself. You can also customize Trello by selecting from a variety of themes for your board or by adding custom backgrounds and choosing from various emoji icons for your cards.
  • To-Do Lists
  • To-Do Lists are used by users to keep track of specific tasks that need to be completed within a given timeframe. A user can create a To-Do List by clicking on "New To-Do List" in their settings menu and then assigning a name and description for the list. Users can also assign the list a cpor by clicking on "Customize." In order to add items (tasks. to the To-Do List, users must first open the list itself; then they can start adding items by typing them into the field provided or by clicking on the plus icon located at the bottom right corner of their screen and then selecting "Add Card." Clicking on the three dots located next to the plus sign will allow users to change the card's cpor and also display due dates for each item, allowing users to easily distinguish between items that need immediate attention and those that can wait until later on in the list. Users can drag items up and down within their list, using their mouse or the arrow keys on their keyboard, but they cannot reorder them by dragging them on top of each other; if they wish to reorder them, they must instead move them up or down underneath the card above or below them. Users can also delete items from their list by hovering over the item's title with their cursor and clicking on the trashcan icon that appears in the top left corner of their screen; if users wish to undo this action, they must click on "Undo Delete."
  • Users who have activated Google Calendar integration are able to view a calendar view of all of their tasks that are currently active; as long as there is an unassigned task in a user's To-Do List, it is considered active and will appear on their calendar. Users who have not activated Google Calendar integration will only see lists of all of their active tasks on their calendar; they will not be able to view individual tasks as they would in Google Calendar integration mode. Users who are not logged into Trello on Google Chrome will not see any To-Do Lists appearing on their calendars whatsoever.
  • In order for users to receive notifications about new task assignments on their To-Do Lists, they must first grant Trello access permissions by heading over to their application settings menu and going into "Notifications"; once there, users will have two available options. They must select "Allow notifications" in order for notifications from Trello's mobile app(s. to show up on their device(s), and they must select "Allow desktop notifications" in order for notifications sent from Trello's website to show up on their computer(s. By default, both options are enabled, but users have the option of disabling either or both of these settings if they would prefer not to be notified about new assignments via either method. Users may choose which devices they want notifications sent from Trello on by selecting one or more devices from the dropdown menu in the "Devices" section of this page; this menu is accessible from within Trello's application settings menu by clicking on either "Mobile app" or "Desktop app" (depending on which notification method they would prefer. Users who are logged into Trello through Google Chrome will automatically have access permission granted from Trello when they enable notifications from Trello's website; however, if a user chooses not to log into Trello through Google Chrome, they must manually grant access permission from within Trello's application settings menu before notifications will appear on their device(s. When new items are added to a user's To-Do List, notifications will appear both within Trello's mobile apps as well as its website; users who have disabled notifications from one method will still receive notifications from the other method unless both are disabled altogether.
  • To change the notification settings for an individual To-Do List, users must open that list and click on "Notification Settings"; this option is located towards the middle of the page, underneath "Settings." Once inside this section of the page, clicking anywhere inside of the "Change how we notify you" box will reveal two tabs. one labeled "Mobile app" (if applicable. and one labeled "Desktop app." Selecting either tab will reveal additional settings regarding notifications specific to either method; these settings include both whether notifications should be enabled or disabled as well as what types of notifications should be sent (for example, if notification should only be sent when tasks are assigned or when tasks are due. Permissions for third-party applications are managed separately from those pertaining to mobile and desktop app notifications; the permission settings for both types of notifications are located towards the top of this page of settings. Clicking anywhere outside of this box will return users back into their list settings menu.
