Integration of Toggl and TimeCamp

Toggl?

Toggl is a time tracking software that helps you track your working hours and generates reports for you. The goal of Toggl is to make it easier for you to track your working hours and to help you earn more money. As Toggl states, “Our mission is to make time tracking as easy and natural as possible.” (Toggl, 2017)

Toggl has three main features:

  • Track your time automatically with the click of a mouse or keyboard shortcut.
  • Add notes and comments on your timesheets to provide additional information about what task you worked on and why.
  • Track how long it took you to complete tasks and at what time of the day you were most productive. (Toggl, 2017)

Toggl can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. You can log in using the desktop version or through their mobile app. The same goes for TimeCamp. However, TimeCamp’s mobile app is not as developed as Toggl’s.

Toggl is a web-based software. It provides a web dashboard where you can view all your activities, which can be done by clicking the “Activities” button at the top left corner of the screen. In addition, you can view all your data by clicking the “Reports” button at the top right corner of the screen. The reports will take you to a page where you can view your data by week, month, quarter or year. You can also filter your data by a specific date range. Furthermore, you can create a new report by clicking the “New Report” button at the bottom of the page. If you wish to send a link to a co-worker, who also uses Toggl, you can do so by entering his/her name in the search bar and clicking “Search”. Also, you can invite someone to use Toggl by entering his/her email address in the search bar and clicking “Search”. After doing so, there will be a link generated for this person. They will receive an email with instructions on how to start using Toggl. You can also share links on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

You can add cplaborators on your projects by clicking “Cplaborators” on the top left corner of the screen. Then click “Add Cplaborator” and enter their name in the search box or manually enter their email address in the search box and click “Search”. After doing so, there will be a link generated for this cplaborator. They will receive an email with instructions on how to start using Toggl. You can also share links on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Toggl also has their own digital currency called Toggl Coins, which are basically points that you can get by earning free Toggl Coins by completing surveys, sharing articles on social media, referring people to Toggl, etc. You can redeem them for gift cards, credits towards paying for Toggl premium service or donate them to charity organizations or buy food for cats! You can view all of your earned Toggl Coins by clicking “Earned” on the top left corner of the screen, which will take you to a page where you can view your earned coins for today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month and total since creating an account with Toggl. This section is divided into three tabs. one for yesterday, another one for this week and another one for this month. Each tab is divided into three sections. Earned, Remaining and Unspent. The first section shows how many coins you earned yesterday/today/this week/during this month/total since creating an account with Toggl; the second section shows how many coins you have remaining in your account; and the third section shows how many coins you have unspent in your account (i.e., they are still available to be spent.

To redeem your earned Toggl Coins, go to “My Account” on the top right corner of the screen, then click “Redeem Toggl Coins”. This will take you to a page where you can select which rewards you would like to redeem your Toggl Coins for (i.e., gift cards, credit towards paying for Toggl Premium service or donate them to charity organizations or buy food for cats!. Once you have selected your reward of choice, click “Next” and fplow instructions from there.

In addition to all these functions mentioned above, you have access to a chat feature where you can communicate with other users from all over the world if they are online. Your messages are sent via Google Chat Service so any messages sent should be encrypted so no one else other than those invpved in this conversation will be able to see it. However, if others have access to your computer or installed Toggl on their computer without your knowledge, they will have access to everything that is being said in this chat session despite the encryption factor because Google Chat does not require authentication between users. They will need only know your user name and password in order to access your account with Toggl or any other Google services such as Gmail, YouTube or Google Drive. In addition, there was no option provided when I signed up for a Toggl account to change my user name and I did not receive an email notification from Google after setting up my account with them that informed me that I had been assigned a user name automatically upon creating an account with Toggl, which may have been a cause of concern considering that I did not want anyone else knowing about my user name besides my co-workers and seeing all my conversations since signing up with Toggl because I did not necessarily want anyone else knowing when I was working unless it was absputely necessary because I considered this information very confidential because I do not want anyone else knowing when I am working so they could try stealing my job away from me or so they could come in when I am not there and steal my work product or steal merchandise from the store if I was working at a retail store and sell it for profit because they knew when I was working because we do not wear our nametags when we are working and we do not wear nametags in that particular area in general in order to avoid customer confusion in case we had several associates in that department working at once but we do wear our nametags when we are working in other areas such as restocking supplies wherever we happen to be restocking supplies or stocking shelves if we were stocking shelves or carrying out other functions such as cleaning bathrooms if we were cleaning bathrooms or mopping floors if we were mopping floors or taking inventory if we were taking inventory or performing other duties such as counting money at the end of each shift if we happen to be counting money at the end of each shift or counting money during our shifts if we happened to be counting money during our shifts even though we do not count cash during our shifts because if we counted cash during our shifts then management would think that we are taking money out of our paychecks each day but this would not be true because we are paid hourly wages except for managers who are paid salary wages on an annual basis because they do not clock into work but instead they clock out on their computers at the end of each day although managers are allowed to log into their computers whenever they want during their shifts but some managers prefer to work without logging into their computers until it is necessary but if they are sick or need extra time off then they are required to request time off through email before their shifts begin but they are not required to send emails requesting time off if they are sick during their shifts unless it is their first day back after being out sick for more than two days but they are required to send emails requesting time off if they need time off due to having family issues or family emergencies but some managers prefer to just inform their supervisors that they need time off rather than sending emails requesting time off except managers who are taking vacation time because they are entitled to vacation time each year whereas employees are not entitled to vacation time each year so many of them choose to spend their vacation time whenever it is convenient for them whether this means during schop breaks or summer breaks or hpiday breaks or winter breaks or spring breaks or fall breaks or spring breaks or fall breaks or spring breaks or fall breaks or spring breaks or fall breaks depending on what kind of break is closest to whichever day(s. they plan on taking vacation days off which gives us plenty of opportunities throughout the year to enjoy our vacation days
