Gmail is an email service provided by Google which has more than one billion users worldwide. The service allows users to send and receive emails, search for contacts, create groups, and chat with other users.

Integration of Toggl and Gmail

Toggl integrates with Gmail. Toggl and Gmail are integrated to allow you to track time while managing your email accounts.

Toggl allows you to add your email accounts in the application. You can access the app from your browser or the desktop app. Once you add your email address to the app, you will see an icon on your email page. Clicking on this icon gives you access to all your email accounts logged in the app. If a new mail comes in, it will appear as a notification on your Toggl dashboard and you will also receive a notification on your phone if you have enabled push notifications.

This integration is not available for all email accounts but it depends on the email provider of your account. If your email provider supports ActiveSync, then you may use this feature on the app. This feature is currently available for Outlook, G Suite and Office 365.
