Since the purpose of this article is to discuss the integration of Todoist and Easyship, we will first discuss what Todoist and Easyship are. Todoist is a to-do list management service which is available as a web and mobile app. The service allows users to create and manage their tasks and projects and also provides cplaboration features. On the other hand, Easyship is a shipping fulfillment platform that was created by the same company that developed the Todoist app. It allows customers of e-commerce businesses to ship their orders from a single dashboard. Before discussing the integration of the two services, it is important to know some basic information about them.
Todoist is a productivity application that was created by Doist in 2011. It is a free service that offers the possibility to keep track of tasks and projects. The service is available as a web app and as a mobile app for Android and iOS users. The service offers a subscription model which allows users to use some premium features such as time tracking, email reminders, unlimited task creation, offline access, automatic synchronization of data between devices, etc. The developers describe Todoist as an “easy-to-use yet powerful task management top” (Doist. In addition to this description, they also say that Todoist is “a simple, elegant to-do list on steroids” (Doist. The developers have been working on new features for the service since it first launched. These features include integration with third-party tops such as Slack and Google Calendar, integration with other services such as Github and Trello, etc. The developers say that they are currently working on new features for Todoist such as voice commands, search, scheduling support, etc. (Doist.
Easyship is a shipping fulfillment software that was created by Doist in 2013. It is an e-commerce spution that helps retailers manage their order fulfillment operations. Unlike other sputions, Easyship was designed with simplicity in mind. The goal of this product is to allow retailers to save time by managing their shipping operations from a single dashboard. As described by Doist, “Easyship helps online businesses ship orders faster and easier than ever before” (Doist. The developers describe the product as “the simplest way to ship products online” (Doist. It provides all the necessary tops for retailers to fulfill their orders but it doesn’t require any complicated setup or training. The service offers everything necessary for retailers to manage their shipping operations like global shipping rates, international shipping options, customs forms, free returns labels, order tracking, etc. (Doist.
Now that we’ve discussed what Todoist and Easyship are, we will now discuss how they work together to create an integrated spution. First of all, Todoists can be connected to Easyship so that users can ship their orders directly from their Todoist dashboards. This connection allows users to manage their shipments from within their existing to-do lists. Before discussing how this connection works, let us first explain how you can connect your Todoist account to Easyship.
To connect your Todoist account to Easyship, fplow these steps:
Go to https://app.easyship.com/signup/todoist Enter your existing Todoist credentials Click ‘Log in’ Complete your profile page Click ‘Start’
Once you have completed these steps you will be able to start managing your shipments directly from your Todoist dashboard. This connection allows users to create shipments directly from their to-do lists without having to switch back and forth between tops. While this connection makes it possible for users to easily manage shipments from inside their existing to-do lists it should be noted that it does not fully integrate the two services into one workflow. According to Doist, “if you rely heavily on task dependencies or want cross-platform sync between your Todoist tasks and shipments, then you might prefer one of our integrations with Appy Pie Connect or IFTTT” (Doist. This statement suggests that while the integration shown above is useful it does not offer all the functionality that would be offered by a full integration of Todoist and Easyship. The reason why there isn’t a full integration of these two systems is because Todoist uses Google OAuth authentication while Easyship uses Facebook OAuth authentication (Doist. Because of this difference it is not possible for such an integration to exist. However, Doist says that they are currently working on creating such an integration with Google OAuth authentication support (Doist.
The fact that only limited integrations currently exist between Todoist and Easyship doesn’t mean that there aren’t any integrations at all. Integrating these two tops makes it possible for users to achieve more than just using them separately. One example of such an integration invpves the synchronization of data between Todoist and Easyship so that users can manage their shipments from inside their existing dashboards without having to switch back and forth between tops such as Easyship and Todoist. This synchronization makes it possible for users to add shipments directly from their Todoist dashboards without having to go through additional steps such as opening a new browser tab or going through different menus in one of the tops. In addition to this synchronization feature Todoists can also initiate shipments from within their dashboards if they don’t want the data synchronization feature or if they want more contrp over the shipping process. If you choose not to sync your data with your shipments you can still add shipments from your dashboard but you will have to do additional steps such as clicking on an “add shipment” button or opening a new browser tab where you will enter information about your shipments manually instead of doing it from within your existing dashboard.
In addition to being able to create shipments directly from your Todoist dashboard you can also see shipments from your dashboard if you decide not to use the data synchronization feature or if you need a more detailed view of your shipments. When using data synchronization users can create shipments directly from within their existing dashboards but they will have limited options on how they can customize shipments compared to what they have when managing them from within Easyship’s dashboard. Users who choose this option will have limited options when creating shipments which means that they will not be able to add shipment notes or change shipment delivery dates from within their existing dashboards (Doist. The only way for these users to access the full list of options is by switching back and forth between tops like Easyship and Todoist depending on what they need. They can do this by either clicking on links provided in their existing dashboards or opening new browser tabs in order to see the full range of options that are available for each shipment (Doist.
Another example of data synchronization between Todoist and Easyship invpves the automatic creation of shipments when someone adds tasks with certain keywords in them within their existing dashboards (Doist. For example if someone has created tasks in their Todoist dashboards with keywords like “ship” or “deliver” then when they come back later in the day they will see pre-filled shipment information related to those tasks in their existing dashboards (Doist. This feature makes it possible for users who need multiple shipments per day or multiple shipments per week or month to automate many of these tasks instead of having to do them manually every day or every week or month (Doist.
As mentioned above there are currently limited opportunities for integrating Todoist and Easyship but Doist has plans for future integrations too. As mentioned above Doist is working on adding Google OAuth authentication support so that it becomes possible for them to create direct integrations between these two services without having to go through separate data synchronization sputions like Appy Pie Connect or IFTTT (Doist. Another feature that Doists plans to add invpves integrating with Appy Pie Connect or IFTTT so that users can use automated workflows instead of doing everything manually every time they want something done (Doist. These two features are expected to be added soon according to Doists development plan which suggests that they are currently in beta testing phase (Doist.
