The easiest way to understand the benefits of the integration of Timely by Memory and ShipStation is to see it in action. So let’s do this. First of all, we need to install Timely by Memory on our computer. Then, we click on “Integration Settings” and choose ShipStation from the list of available integrations.
As soon as the new window opens, we enter the login information for our ShipStation account and click on “Save.” After that, we go back to our Shipping Rules section and create a new rule that will handle all shipments that are sent from Timely by Memory. If you want to create a new rule manually, you can do that by going to “Shipping Rules > Add New Rule.” We fill out the fields with the appropriate information, set the status for the rule as “Active,” and click on “Save.” Now we are ready to send a shipment.
To do that, we go to the “Shipments” tab, select the item that needs to be shipped, choose “Print Label & Send” from the dropdown menu, and click “Save.” After that, our ShipStation account will be automatically opened in a new tab and we will be asked to choose a shipping carrier and enter some additional information about our shipment (amount, size, weight, etc.. When all of that is done, we simply click “Save” and our shipment will be sent through Timely by Memory.
We can also send shipments by other methods, including creating labels in ShipStation and printing them directly from the ShipStation interface. But that method is a little bit more complicated than the first one.
