TimeCamp

TimeCamp is a time tracking software, which can be used as an employee time tracker or as a project manager timer. As an employee time tracker it allows you to track your daily working hours. You can track your work time by opening the web app and entering the time worked. This way you always know how many hours you have worked and can easily see how much time you have left for work. As a project manager timer it allows you to start and stop recording your time based on your current status. For example, if you are working on a project and there is a break or you are waiting for a meeting to start, you do not need to worry about the time spent. Integration of TimeCamp and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

With the integration of TimeCamp and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central you can manage and record your time and keep track of your work progress through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. With the integration of the two platforms, data from TimeCamp is transferred to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and vice versa. Data from TimeCamp is sent to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central either manually or automatically. There are two ways to send data manually:

  • Send Invoices – If you want to send invoices automatically to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can set up the integration so that each invoice is sent to the integrated module in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The data will be transferred from TimeCamp to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central once you have clicked “Save” in TimeCamp. If there are any errors in the invoice, they will be shown in red. You will receive an email notification once this is done.
  • Post Timesheets – If you want to assign timesheets to projects in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , you need to set up the integration so that each timesheet is posted to the integrated module in Business Central. The data will be transferred from TimeCamp to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central once you have saved the timesheet in TimeCamp. If there are any errors in the timesheet, they will be shown in red. You will receive an email notification once this is done.

The automatic transfer of data from TimeCamp to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is done once every hour. When one-off transfers are needed, you can schedule them at any time of day or night using the integrated Task Scheduler that is built into both applications.
