The founder of this company is Rob Walling, who previously co-founded MicroConf, which he spd in 2007. After selling MicroConf, he started an online publication titled DripStat. While running DripStat, he began developing an open source version of his project called SmartFeeder. This project was later renamed Drip in 2012 when he decided to leave his position at DripStat to start Drip full time.
