Zoho Invoice

Zoho Invoice is an application designed in order to manage invoices and invoicing related activities. It allows you to generate professional invoices, send reminders, track payments and other important tasks related to invoicing.

It is possible to integrate Zoho Invoice with many applications. One of them is Thinkific, which can be integrated through the Zapier platform. It allows the connection between Thinkific and Zoho Invoice by using triggers and actions. These are two elements that are used by Zapier when an action (a trigger. happens in one of the programs. If for example, a new student registers on Thinkific, an action is triggered in Zoho Invoice, which will open a new invoice with all the information from Thinkific. In fact, there are many triggers that can be connected with different actions; sharing it with you a few:

· When a new student registers on one of the courses on Thinkific, an action opens a new invoice in Zoho Invoice;

· When a student pays for one of the courses on Thinkific, an action writes the payment date in Zoho Invoice;

· When a new student registers on Thinkific and purchases a premium account on Zoho Invoice, an action creates a new invoice;

All these actions show how powerful and easy it is to integrate two programs using Zapier. As you can see, there are many possibilities of integration that can help you to automate processes and communicate between two applications using just one platform.

Integration of Thinkific and Zoho Invoice

The integration between Zoho Invoice and Thinkific is made through Zapier. This platform enables the connection between multiple applications via triggers and actions. A trigger happens when a specific action happens on one of the connected applications. For example, when a student registers on Thinkific, an action is triggered in Zoho Invoice, creating a new invoice for this student. On the other hand, an action happens when some specific data changes or some specific event occurs in a connected application. For example, when the payment for one of the courses on Thinkific changes, an action is triggered in Zoho Invoice writing the payment date in an existing invoice or creating a new one.

The integration between these two platforms is very easy because they share the same philosophy of simplicity. Both offer a simple and intuitive interface to use every feature without having any technical knowledge. The integration takes advantage of this feature; it uses triggers and actions that happen in both platforms automatically without any interaction by the user. So, if you have created an online course using Thinkific and want to automate part of your work, Zapier will help you do so. Using Zapier, you will be able to create an invoice for each new student who registers on your course. You can also use triggers to handle specific events while sending out invoices automatically without any interaction by you. The best thing is that you will not need to install any other software or pay for anything else; it’s only necessary to sign up in both platforms and integrate them through Zapier. The rest will be done automatically. All this can be achieved thanks to the ease of use and simplicity that both platforms have.

One of the advantages of integrating Thinkific and Zoho Invoice via Zapier is that it does not require any technical knowledge; you don’t need to be a programmer or anything like this to use it. It only requires basic knowledge about computers and internet because you will have to sign up in both platforms (Zapier is used as an interface. and connect them using triggers and actions carefully selected by you. After doing so, you will only have to wait until something happens in one of the platforms; an action will be triggered in Zapier which will call another action in the other platform doing almost everything automatically without any effort from your side. In fact, things like handling money or other tasks related to invoicing should be left to professionals like GoDaddy or Zoho Invoice because they know better how these processes should be handled and they can offer sputions tailored for these tasks. But what we are talking about here is how to automate part of your work; this way you will be able to spend more time working on your courses instead of handling administrative tasks for example. You will also be able to add value to your students by saving them time and effort because they won’t have to worry about paying for their course in time or sending payment reminders automatically when necessary. This way they will have more time working on other aspects of their courses like content creation, lessons or video editing among others. And these are just some examples of how automation can help you improve your courses without having to invest too much time or money into it. But remember what I said before. you should always leave tasks related with money handling or other legal issues like sales tax registration or tax reporting for professionals to handle. That’s why it’s important to know if your country has double taxation agreements with other countries regarding online sales because this way taxes related to online sales won’t be applied twice (in your country and in the country where your customers live. In fact, there are many components invpved when making sales online that go beyond the scope of this article but I recommend you to check our blog post about taxes for online sellers for further information about this topic.

Benefits of Integration of Thinkific and Zoho Invoice

As I said before, there are many benefits that integration brings to your courses like automating certain tasks or facilitating some administrative tasks related with invoicing and generating payments efficiently. Let me show you some real examples of how automation has helped us at Teachlr:

Automating invoicing. We use Zapier to generate invoices automatically after receiving payments for our students’ premium accounts (and only for premium accounts. We also use triggers connected with actions like “When a payment is received” (Trigger. in order to create an invoice (Action. which contains all the information from the payment (amount paid and product type. With this automation we save a lot of time generating invoices manually; now we only need to wait until the payment is received by our bank account and then Zapier generates an invoice for us automatically so that we don’t have to spend time doing it manually anymore. This way we can spend more time working on other things like lessons or developing new courses for our students. Sharing assets. We also shared 2GB of assets (images, audio files or videos. between our online course platform and our online courseware platform thanks to integration between both platforms via Zapier. Our online courseware platform runs on WordPress, so we set up a Zapier workflow with two triggers and three actions. · One trigger happens when someone visits our “Media Library” page (trigger); · One action creates a file called “LibraryMedia” (action); · Another action downloads media files from our Media Library page (action); · The last action saves those files in WordPress Media Library fpder in our online courseware platform (action. This way all the images and audios from our Media Library page get downloaded automatically and saved in our WordPress Media Library fpder so that we have access to them from there too. If we had not done this integration it would have been necessary for us to download all these files manually once a week (remember that we upload ten new media files per week. This way we save lots of time because we only need to click one button instead of downloading all these files manually one by one every week; thanks to integration between both platforms we don’t need to do it anymore! All we have to do is click a button in Zapier which calls another action opening a new dialog box asking us where we want those files to be downloaded; then we just have to select WordPress Media Library Fpder as destination fpder and press Save File button. Finally, all these files get downloaded automatically saving us lots of time! Generating invoices. We use Zapier to generate invoices automatically after receiving payments for our students
