Imagine you are taking an exam in a classroom. You’re trying to listen to your teacher, make notes, and work through the questions quickly. The only problem is that you don’t want to run out of time making notes or lose your place because there is no live copy. Thankfully, Microsoft has spved the problem by integrating their products, Textline and OneNote. These two products allow you to create notes on OneNote and read them back through Textline. This allows you to take notes faster and not have to worry about missing anything your teacher says.
OneNote is bad at reading text back, but good at recognizing pictures and diagrams. With the integration of Textline into OneNote, OneNote can now read back text to you. This allows you to concentrate more on the written words rather than trying to remember what the teacher said. You can also use TextLine to read back to you any other text file, allowing you to take handwritten notes on PDF documents or large documents. This makes it easy for you to read back your notes later without having to print them out first. With Textline integrated with OneNote, you can now write faster notes and not worry about losing your place or missing the lecture. While the integration of these two programs is very useful, it does not allow you to do everything that Textline can do on its own. For example, you cannot write notes on top of pictures or diagrams in OneNote with Textline. This means you will have to take two separate notes if you are trying to take notes on both words and pictures. You are also unable to make voice recordings or find information online while using Textline in OneNote. While you may be able to search for information online, you cannot make voice recordings while using this feature. This limits how far it can go in helping with note taking.
OneNote is a great software program that allows you to take notes with ease! When Textline is integrated with OneNote, not only do you get the voice recognition abilities of Textline with easy access to OneNote, but also the ability share and edit notes. Overall, this integration is a great way for students and teachers alike to take better notes and keep track of them in a simple and easy way!
