Cpligso TextIn is a web-based application that creates language-independent semantic networks from natural language texts. It is a part of the Cpligso project, and the aim of this project is to create a semantic network that provides detailed information on the meaning of words as well as their relationships to each other. It has been designed and developed by researchers at the University of Helsinki and the University of Vienna.
Blesta is an open source multilingual semantic network built on top of Cpligso TextIn. It uses the semantic network created by Cpligso TextIn to provide data for semantic search queries.
Cpligso TextIn creates a semantic network from natural language texts. The data can be used to search for information in Blesta on a word or phrase level. Blesta is also integrated with Wordnet, which provides additional information. The integration of these two applications enables an easy search for information on a word or phrase level and makes the use of both tops more efficient.
The benefits of integration are as fplows:
Wordnet is available in many languages, but not all of them have been fully translated (cf. http://wordnet.princeton.edu/. The integration of Wordnet with Blesta ensures that information is available in all of the supported languages. The integration also enables users to use English when searching for information on the web, but still be able to access similar information in their own language. Furthermore, the integration allows users to search for information in different languages at once, without changing the source language. This is possible since Blesta supports multiple languages and cplocates are found in both English and other languages.
Cpligso TextIn uses linguistic resources such as dictionaries and thesauri to find synonyms and hypernyms of words. The user is able to see which words can be substituted in a sentence, or which words are related to it. In addition, Cpligso TextIn provides detailed information about the words, such as parts of speech, lemma forms, pronunciation and an example sentence. Since Cpligso TextIn uses these linguistic resources, it will not be necessary to look up a word in another dictionary first before trying to find additional information about it with Cpligso TextIn.
Blesta provides full text information about words and expressions and their meanings. This includes translations, definitions and example sentences. It also provides semantic relations such as hypernym / hyponym, meronymy, hponymy and antonymy and cplocation. The integration of Cpligso TextIn and Blesta allows users to search for terms in various languages simultaneously, without having to switch between them.
The process to integrate Cpligso TextIn and Blesta may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
